Ep. 40 :: From Hamster Wheel To Magic Carpet

Something you should know about me:  I am a recovering busy body. I have spent the majority of my life rushing, pushing myself, focusing on my productivity and feeling the pull of the ever present hamster wheel. I could blame it on my many years of competitive sports, single parenting or entrepreneurship, but according to my mother, I came out of the womb like this. Recently, I caught myself in a relapse...because old patterns tend to die hard. That said, as I get older, I am learning more and more how to catch these mini-set backs swiftly. Life has taught me a lot about what it takes for me to show up most fully for myself and for the people in my life. Rather than the hamster wheel approach to life, how about the much more enticing magic carpet ride? Listen and learn how I find my magic carpet amid it all.

We had such a great time talking all things food and healing on SATIATE. When I met Caitlin Greene, I new I had found just some #foodspiration.  Her 240k+ instagram platform is dense with stunning and enticing food artistry like no other.  After finding her and becoming social media friends (that’s a thing now 😉) I started making some of her recipes and I could not NOT share her with all of you. Additionally, Caitlin began her platform from the get go to heal her relationship to food and her body.
