EP 65 :: Becoming An Empowered Empath {With Wendy De Rosa}
How we empathize is a deeper look into our capacity to understand and relate to what another person is experiencing.
When talking with my friend Wendy De Rosa on this months episode of SATIATE, I learned some clear distinctions between being overly empathic and being an empowered empath. The former, feeling overly sensitive, disconnected from our sense of self, and most often totally drained. The ladder, feeling what is true and reclaiming our intuitive power in doing so.
Similarly, when our empathic nature (especially as women) becomes overly empathic and out of balance, it can deeply effect our relationship with food.
While empathy is a natural human response –– feeling the energy around us and connecting with another's emotions –– taking on these emotions as our own (feeling it as if it is happening to us) can be where problems arise.Becoming an empowered empath is where we transform our empathic nature to become our greatest superpower. 💪🏾
Wendy De Rosa is an international intuitive energy healer, speaker, teacher, and author. She is the founder of The School of Intuitive Studies and the renowned Intuitive Healer Training Program & Certification. Wendy is a leading faculty member of The Shift Network with more than 100,000 people attending her live events and programs. And, just last week, Wendy was featured on the Dear Gabby Podcast, hosted by Gabrielle Bernstein.Her work and her new book, Becoming An Empowered Empath ~ How To Clear Energy, Set Boundaries, and Embody Your Intuition are much needed in our world today.
If you feel consumed with the state of the world, with others in your life, or even with dynamics in your very own home, this episode is for you!
