The launch process of your podcast is essential to its success. Listen in with Ash and Kane to find out exactly why and what you should be doing to launch a number 1 podcast in the ‘pre-launch’ stage. To find out about the first stage, the pre-pre-launch, listen to the previous episode of The Podcasters Podcast (45). KEY TAKEAWAYS This is the most important part of the launch process. The pre-launch is the period from two weeks, up until your launch date. You can only get into new and noteworthy in the first 8 weeks of your podcast launch, so you want to push as much volume on launch day as possible and a great strategy to do this is with a giveaway. Social media lives are a good way to market your podcast in your pre-launch phase.
