3215 Bust the Barriers

In life, we often fall into the trap of complacency and familiarity. We stick to what we know, what feels safe and secure. Ditch the comfort and bust the barriers. Do you ever feel like you're constantly met with obstacles that hold you back from reaching your full potential? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Whether it's the comfort zone that keeps you stagnant, fear that paralyzes you, or procrastination that hinders your progress, it's time to break free from these barriers. "Look beyond what you expect and take a chance on what you don't know. It's time to get uncomfortable in the water and swim to greater depths." ~ Kristianne Wargo Now while the trap might provide temporary comfort, it also restricts your growth and limits your possibilities. It's time to break free from the comfort zone and venture into uncharted territory. "The real growth lies beyond the boundaries you set for yourself." ~ Kristianne Wargo It's a profound truth that challenges you to step outside your comfort zone and embrace the unknown. When you push past your limitations, you open yourself up to new experiences, opportunities, and personal growth. The K.I.S.S. ~ Bust the barriers! Fear is another formidable barrier that holds us back. It's a natural instinct to feel fearful of the unknown. However, if you constantly allow fear to control your actions, you will never uncover your true potential. Take a moment to reflect on your fears. What is the worst that could happen if you face them head-on? Often, the fear you build up in your mind is far greater than the reality. By confronting your fears, you empower yourself to overcome the barriers that stand in your way. Procrastination, too, is an invisible wall we often come up against. You tell yourself we'll start tomorrow, that there's always more time. But deep down, you know that tomorrow never truly comes. Taking that first step is the key to breaking through the procrastination barrier. Take A.I.M. now, however small it may be, and you'll find that momentum builds, propelling you forward. Soon enough, you'll knock down the walls of procrastination and embrace productivity. So, how can we bust these barriers and unlock our true potential? It starts with a shift in mindset. Embrace the uncomfortable and be open to new experiences. Challenge your beliefs and expectations, and be willing to embrace the unfamiliar. Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who inspire and motivate you. Seek out mentors or role models who have overcome similar barriers and learn from their experiences. Most importantly, believe in yourself and your ability to break free from the chains that bind you. Life is too short to let barriers hold you back. Break free from your comfort zone, conquer your fears, and banish procrastination. Remember, the real growth lies beyond the boundaries you set for yourself. Embrace the unknown, challenge your limitations, and soar to new heights. Take that leap of faith and discover the greatness that lies within you. "Don't let barriers control your every day. Bust through them and create your now. It's time to bust the barriers and embrace the extraordinary possibilities that await you." ~ Kristianne Wargo "Be present. Be incredible. 3214 Move From What-If to Now

One common stumbling block in pursuing a life of purpose is the constant dwelling on "what-if" scenarios. Whether rooted in fear or a lack of self-belief, move from what-if to now. This mentality holds you back from experiencing the present and embracing the life God has designed for you. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co "How can you live the life God designed specifically for you if you are always talking about what-if?" ~ Kristianne Wargo Living in a perpetual state of a "what-if" mindset hinders your ability to see yourself as successful. It keeps you constantly looking in the rearview mirror, fixated on missed opportunities or past failures. The key to unlocking your potential and creating a fulfilling life lies in transitioning from 'what-if' to 'now.' Hence, create your now! The K.I.S.S. ~ Create your now! But just like anything else, you have to take A.I.M.! Action ignites movitation. Here are three actionable steps you can take to make this transformation: 1. Embrace Self-Awareness One essential step in releasing the grip of 'what-if' thinking is to cultivate self-awareness. Reflect on what drives your thoughts, this mindset, and what fears or doubts are holding you back. What are you really afraid of? Acknowledging these limitations equips you to confront them head-on, allowing you to take control of your thoughts and redirect them toward the present. 2. Practice Gratitude Shifting your focus from 'what-if' to 'what is' can be challenging, but practicing gratitude can help rewire your mindset. What blessings are before you? Make a habit of recognizing and appreciating the blessings in your life, no matter how small they may seem. By cultivating gratitude, you train your mind to be present and open to the opportunities that exist right now. 3. Set Clear Goals and Take A.I.M. To create your 'now,' it's essential to set clear goals and take intentional action. Define what you want to achieve and break it down into actionable steps. What is possible? By prioritizing these objectives and committing to taking consistent action, you shift your energy towards building the life you desire, making 'what-if' scenarios lose their grip on your thoughts, your heart; your mindset. "At no point will you see yourself as successful if you are always living in the 'what if.' So, stop looking back; use the rearview mirror as a reminder that you've come so far to create your now." ~ Kristianne Wargo Ultimately, living a life of purpose requires releasing the shackles of 'what-if' thinking and embracing the present moment. By cultivating self-awareness, practicing gratitude, and taking intentional action toward your goals, you create the space to experience the life that God has designed specifically for you. So, let go of the 'what ifs' and open yourself up to the endless possibilities, and create your now. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3213 Skill Will Bring Success

"If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed, but skill will bring success." Ecclesiastes 10:10 Skill, as Ecclesiastes 10:10 suggests, is an essential factor in achieving success. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co But how do you acquire skill, and where does God play a role in the process? Recognizing the importance of skill development and God's involvement, you can find wisdom and guidance in the Bible. First off, it's important to understand that skill is not simply a product of human effort; it is a gift from God. In Exodus 31:3, we read about Bezalel, a skilled craftsman who was divinely appointed and filled with the Spirit of God to be able to work with skill in various crafts. This highlights the biblical understanding that skill is not solely a result of human effort, but is a divine gift from God Himself. Therefore, by seeking God's guidance and relying on His grace, you can tap into the source of all skill. The K.I.S.S. ~ Skill will bring success! Now, the process of gaining skill requires consistent effort, dedication, and a desire to continually learn. Proverbs 2:2-6 speaks of the importance of diligently seeking wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. By immersing yourself in the study of God's Word and seeking His guidance through prayer, you open yourself up to the possibility of acquiring skill in various areas of your life. Furthermore, Scripture emphasizes the role of God as our ultimate source of strength. Philippians 4:13 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. You are to rely on God's power, not rest in your own strength. So, in situations where more strength is needed, you can trust in God's provision and find comfort in the knowledge that He will equip you for success. God's strength becomes the foundation upon which your skill is built. By surrendering your life to God and submitting your desires and plans to His will, you place yourself in a position to receive His guidance, wisdom, and strength. Proverbs 3:5-6 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. When you acknowledge God in all our ways, He will make our paths straight, leading you towards skillful living and ultimately, success. Remember that skillfulness, in the Biblical context, extends beyond worldly success and achievements. It includes living a life of integrity, using your skills to serve others, and glorifying God through your actions. Colossians 3:23-24 "23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." When you strive to develop your skills with a heart oriented towards honoring God, success becomes more about the impact you have on others and fulfilling your higher purpose, your calling. Skill is a gift from God, and through His guidance and strength, you are able to develop and enhance your abilities. By diligently seeking wisdom, relying on God's strength, and aligning your life with His will, you can experience skillful living that leads to lasting success, not only in the worldly sense but also in your spiritual journey. "If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed, but skill will bring success." Ecclesiastes 10:10 "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3212 What Does It Mean to Love Your Spouse?

Love is a powerful force – a force that has the ability to nourish and sustain a marriage. What does it mean to love your spouse? It's not about striving for a picture-perfect relationship; rather, it's about practicing love daily through your actions and words. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Are you one who does that for your spouse? The K.I.S.S. ~ Practice love every day! What are some tangible ways to practice love towards your spouse, while keeping their needs and well-being in mind? 1. Express gratitude and appreciation Sometimes, we tend to overlook the little things that make our spouse unique and special. Take a moment each day to express your gratitude and appreciation for who they are and what they bring to the relationship. It could be as simple as leaving them a heartfelt note or verbally acknowledging their efforts. For example, you could say, "Thank you for always supporting my dreams and believing in me. Your unwavering belief in me means the world." 2. Prioritize quality time Amidst the daily hustle and bustle, it's crucial to carve out quality time for your spouse. Make a conscious effort to create opportunities for bonding and connection. It could be a regular date night where you explore new places or activities together, or simply turning off all distractions and having a heartfelt conversation. Show them that they are a priority in your life. For instance, surprise your spouse with a planned outing or set aside an evening to cook their favorite meal together. 3. Practice active listening Communication is key in any relationship, and it goes beyond just talking. Practice active listening – genuinely hearing and understanding your spouse's thoughts, feelings, and concerns. This means giving them your undivided attention, maintaining eye contact, and validating their emotions. Show interest by asking open-ended questions and providing a safe space for them to share. For example, when your spouse expresses a worry, respond with empathy and say, "I understand how you feel. Let's work through this together." Remember, love is not about performance or perfection. It's about the consistent effort to make your spouse feel valued, understood, and cherished. As Kristianne Wargo beautifully puts it, "Love is not about performance to be perfect, but rather about the practice of loving." By implementing these three practices into your daily life, you will lay a strong foundation for a fulfilling and lasting marriage. Embrace the art of practicing love, and watch your relationship blossom into something truly beautiful. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #RelationshipBuilders #CreateYourNow #LoveAndMarriage 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3211 How To Teach Your Child Life Skills

Sometimes, we try to "force" our children into doing things we want on our timetables. If we as parents learn to work with them and stay very consistent in our actions, that's how you teach your child life skills. Have you ever found yourself struggling to get your child to do something that you believe will have a profound impact on their life? Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Too many times, we can forcibly strong-arm our children, but that's where the battles brew. We often have a vision of what we want our children to achieve, but getting them on board is another battle. And it's in those moments where we question the worth of our effort. However, instead of trying to force our children into doing something that, at the time, they don't understand why we are asking them to do it, there is a better way to approach training them. The K.I.S.S. ~ Work with your child, not against them! Because by working with your child and staying consistent in your actions, you can effectively guide them towards building life skills while nurturing their growth. 1. Establish a Supportive Environment Creating a supportive environment is essential for your child's growth and development. Set aside a specific area where they can work on their goals, and equip it with the necessary tools and resources. For example, if you want your child to excel in their academics, provide them with a dedicated study space, comfortable seating, and adequate lighting. Make sure this space is free from distractions and encourage them to personalize it to make it truly their own. By providing them with a dedicated space, you are sending a message that their goals and aspirations are important and that you are there to support them every step of the way. 2. Set Clear Expectations One of the key factors in working with your child toward achieving their goals is setting clear expectations. Clearly communicate the desired outcome and explain why it is important. Help them understand the benefits and how the skills or knowledge they gain will positively impact their future. Make sure the expectations are realistic and age-appropriate, breaking down the goal into smaller achievable milestones. This not only gives your child a sense of direction but also provides them with a roadmap to follow. By setting clear expectations, your child will gain clarity on what is expected of them and will feel more motivated to work towards achieving those goals. 3. Encourage Independence and Ownership While it is important to provide guidance and support, it is equally crucial to foster independence and ownership in your children. Encourage them to take ownership of their goals by involving them in the planning process. Allow them to make decisions and let them take the lead in setting targets and timelines. This gives them a sense of responsibility and instills confidence in their abilities. Encourage them to reflect on their progress and celebrate their achievements, no matter how small. By giving your child the autonomy to take charge of their own journey, you are empowering them to become self-motivated learners. By working with your child and staying consistent in your actions, you have the power to guide them towards success. Creating a supportive environment, setting clear expectations, and encouraging independence and ownership are key strategies that can make a significant impact on their journey. Remember, patience and consistency are crucial throughout this process. Emphasize the importance of progress over perfection, and celebrate even the smallest achievements along the way. Together, you and your child can lay a strong foundation for a successful future. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #ConfessionsOfAnUpsetMama #CreateYourNow #TodaysParent 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3209 How Healthy Living Reduces the Risk of Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is a widely recognized health concern for women. However, with the proper precautions, it is possible to reduce the risk of breast cancer. Incorporating healthy lifestyle habits can play a crucial role in maintaining breast health. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Research has shown that certain lifestyle factors can significantly lower the risk of breast cancer. Let's talk about three actionable steps you can take toward prevention. The K.I.S.S. ~ Prevention is key! One of the obvious things that must be done is your annual mammogram. Have you had yours yet? Because it's not obvious unless you do it. And for those who are wondering if it hurts, the answer is no. It can be a little uncomfortable. But for the most part, it's a slight discomfort to save your life. If you think of it that way, you can endure it for a few minutes. So, let's look at some preventative ways. 1. Engage in regular physical activity: Regular exercise has been found to have a protective effect against breast cancer. According to a study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, women who engaged in moderate to vigorous physical activity for at least 30 minutes a day had a lower risk of developing breast cancer compared to those who were less physically active. Physical activity not only helps in weight management but also reduces estrogen levels in the body, which can contribute to a reduced risk of breast cancer. 2. Maintain a healthy weight: Obesity has been linked with an increased risk of breast cancer, especially after menopause. Excess body weight can lead to increased estrogen production, which can fuel the growth of breast cells and potentially lead to cancer. By maintaining a healthy weight through a balanced diet and regular exercise, individuals can reduce their risk of breast cancer. The American Cancer Society recommends following a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and limiting the intake of processed foods and sugary drinks. 3. Limit alcohol consumption: Numerous studies have shown that alcohol consumption is associated with an increased risk of breast cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, even small amounts of alcohol can increase the risk. It is recommended to limit alcohol consumption to no more than one drink per day for women. By reducing alcohol intake, individuals can reduce their exposure to a known risk factor for breast cancer. Adopting a healthy lifestyle can significantly reduce the risk of developing breast cancer. Engaging in regular physical activity, maintaining a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol consumption, and get your annual mammogram. These are simple yet effective steps that you can take to protect yourself. "Train for life. Love your journey!" #WellnessWednesday #CreateYourNow #HealthAndWellness 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3207 Different Seasons Bring New Beginnings

Have you ever noticed how the changing seasons bring a sense of newness and anticipation? Different seasons bring new beginnings. Each season holds its own unique charm, with fresh opportunities and possibilities just waiting to be explored. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Whether it's the blossoming of flowers in spring, the warmth of summer days, the crispness of autumn, or the serenity of winter, each season invites us to be present and fully embrace the magic it offers. The K.I.S.S. ~ Embrace the magic of the season! 1. Cultivate a Mindset of Gratitude Regardless of the season, gratitude is key to finding joy and purpose in the present. Take a moment to reflect on the beauty and blessings that surround you during this season. Whether it's the vibrant colors of fall foliage or the rejuvenation of spring, appreciating the wonders of nature helps shift your mindset to one of abundance. "Presence is about recognizing the blessings in each season and being open to the lessons they bring." ~ Kristianne Wargo 2. Engage in Seasonal Activities What better way to fully immerse yourself in the season than by participating in activities that are unique to it? Make a list of activities that align with the season you're in. For instance, during the spring, you could go for hikes in blooming gardens, have picnics in the park, or start a new hobby like gardening. For the Fall, think of pumpkin patches and cool walks through the fallen leaves. Engaging in these activities not only connects you with the season but also opens opportunities for new experiences and connections. 3. Embrace Intentionality and Presence Being present in the season means consciously creating moments of stillness and reflection. Carve out time to disconnect from the busyness of life and fully immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and sensations of the season. Whether it's taking a leisurely walk in a snow-covered park during winter or sitting by the beach, feeling the warmth of the summer sun, the act of intentionally engaging with the season fosters a deeper appreciation for the here and now. Each season offers us a chance to grow, learn, and start anew. By cultivating a mindset of gratitude, engaging in seasonal activities, and embracing intentionality and presence, we open ourselves up to the magic and potential that each new season brings. As Kristianne Wargo beautifully sums it up, "It's not just about waiting for what's to come but anticipating with joy the newness that each season unfolds." So, as the seasons change, let us remember to be fully present, appreciating the gifts that each one brings, and eagerly anticipating the new beginnings that lie ahead. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #MindsetMonday #CreateYourNow #PersonalDevelopment 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? 3206 In the Sight of God

"But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God." ~ John 3:21 These powerful words, spoken by Jesus himself, remind us of the importance of living a life guided by truth and being a shining light in this world. Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at Women of IMPACT. https://createyournow.mn.co Often, we find ourselves surrounded by darkness - the darkness of sin, negativity, and deception. It can be easy to lose sight of what is right and succumb to the pressures and temptations around us. However, Jesus encourages us to stand firm in the truth, for it is the truth that sets us free and allows us to be a beacon of light in a world that desperately needs it. So, how can you live the life in the sight of God? As you know, you want to commit first to seeking and living by the truth. This means aligning our thoughts, actions, and intentions with what is morally right and just. It means being honest with yourself and others, even when it may be uncomfortable or inconvenient. It means making choices that honor God and reflect His love and grace. The K.I.S.S. ~ In the sight of God! Being the light also means being a positive influence on those around us. Your words and actions have the power to either uplift or tear down others. When you choose to speak words of encouragement, show acts of kindness, and extend forgiveness, you are spreading the light of love and compassion to those who need it most. In a world filled with darkness, being the light also means standing up for what is right and just. It means advocating for those who are oppressed, disadvantaged, or marginalized. It means using your voice to speak out against injustice and create positive change in your communities. By taking a stand for righteousness and being a voice for the voiceless, you can illuminate the darkness and bring hope to those who need it most. Remember that being the light does not mean being perfect. We are all flawed and capable of making mistakes. Yet, it is through our willingness to acknowledge our shortcomings and seek forgiveness that we can truly shine. When we humbly admit our failures and turn to God for guidance, he can transform our lives and use us as vessels of His light and love. In the sight of God! So, are you being the light unto the world? Take a moment to reflect on your thoughts, words, and actions. Are they in alignment with the truth? Are they bringing hope, love, and grace to those around you? In this moment, decide to be intentional about being the light, for through you, God's love can shine brightly in this world. "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!" #SweetSpirit #CreateYourNow #SoulfulSunday 🔔 Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women?
