This week, Cait and Lindsay chat with Adriana Bucci to discuss how someone on their healing journey can recognize the signs of narcissist abuse in their lives. In this episode, we learn how to set boundaries with others and live life on our own terms. We also talk about some of the hard truths that happen when someone close to us is a narcissist and how to learn to accept that a narcissist may never do the necessary inner work to change who they are. Adriana is a narcissistic abuse recovery life coach based in Toronto, Canada. She empowers her clients worldwide to heal from narcissistic abuse, set boundaries, and live life on their own terms. After her own 4-year struggle with physical chronic pain, she learned about the mind-body connection and the work of Dr. John Sarno. In a nutshell, chronic pain can be linked to repressed emotions from childhood trauma. After doing the inner work around her childhood and having been raised by a narcissistic mother, her chronic pain went away.
