The Law of Vibration & The Power of Consistency – Part II

https://media.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/ins.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/TSM_Episode_615_The_Law_of_Vibration_The_Power_of_Consistency-Part_II.mp3   Thinking is based on the law of cause and effect. Whatever you think about affects the vibratory frequency of your mind. That’s why it’s so important to pay close attention to what’s coming into your mind. Either the information that’s coming into our mind is controlling us, or we’re deciding what information we’re going to let in, so that we control it. Your state of mind controls what you perceive around you. We don’t see, feel, or experience things with our eyes—we experience them with our mind. This is also true with money. The money you want is already here, and it’s around you right now, due to the Law of Polarity. If you’re not experiencing money coming to you in great ways, then something in your mind is keeping it away from you. Everything you want is already here right now—but you have to consistently be doing the right things, based on the law of cause and effect. As Napoleon Hill wrote in Think and Grow Rich, “riches begin with a state of mind, with definiteness of purpose, and with little or no hard work.” In this episode you’ll learn: Why you must “change your mind” in order to start experiencing richesEvery person who ever has gotten rich, is rich, or who will get rich in the future, does so by accumulating money that’s in the hands of other peopleMoney moves when people are willing to pay for the service you create (due to the value or perceived value of it)Why “hard work” doesn’t bring riches, yet people attach their identity to hard work, because they believe it makes them a good personWorking hard means trading time for money; becoming rich means you’re leveraging time, money, knowledge, people, and ideas2 examples of leverage—Jeff Bezos creating value through Amazon, and Steve Jobs creating value through the iPhoneMoney is always an effect; it’s never a causeHow my mentor straightened out my thinking in a very short period of time When you decide to become successful, that decision rewires almost everything in your brain. Nothing’s the same again, because you have to learn how to think successfully. Once you do this, you’ll “vibrate” successfully (at the right frequency)—and money will come to you “quickly and in great abundance.” Episode 381 – There is a Science to Getting Rich Episode 328 – The First Principle Episode 52 – You Have a Right to be Rich If you like the show, would you be so kind as to leave us a short review on Apple Podcasts? The Law of Vibration & The Power of Consistency – Part I

https://media.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/ins.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/TSM_Episode_614_The_Law_of_Vibration_The_Power_of_Consistency-Part_I.mp3   What causes success? Many people struggle because they don’t know what actions are successful and which actions aren’t. They don’t know how to think successfully. Most of their “thinking” is based on information they’ve been given throughout life, which is not conducive to success, but to safety. Success is about doing the right things over and over again. When you take successful actions in a successful way every day, over a period of time, you will have success. The more complicated you make this in your mind, the more difficult it will be to wrap your mind around it and actually pull something off. To be successful, you must first understand the Law of Vibration—which states that everything in the universe operates on a frequency, including us. In this episode you’ll learn:  What controls your vibration (or frequency) Whenever you use your senses to observe something, your observation of it take place INSIDE of you, thanks to “cells of recognition” that are programmed in your mind All the information in your mind was given to you by other people, including all the meanings, labels, ideas, instructions, and directions for everything you use in life Your life is being directed by pattern recognition—and the understanding of those who raised you If you weren’t raised by people who were conscious of success, then you were raised by people who were conscious of safety The opposite of success is safety Success is about expansion and growth; NOT having success is about attempting to stay the same and living under the false belief of safety Plus, I share how money was never my problem (even though I believed it was). My real problem was that I couldn’t identify an opportunity that would allow me to break out of the situation I was in. Ask yourself: What do you want that you’re not currently getting? What information do you have in your mind about it? Is this information helping you be successful, or is it keeping you “safe” and stuck? What ideas are you taking in on a regular basis to help change your mind, so you can see the opportunity for success that’s already all around you? With the right information, you can change the cells of recognition in your mind, to be able to see something different. This changes your brain chemistry, so that you can see the opportunity. Episode 345 – Thomas Troward’s Principle of Guidance Episode 351 – Ignore Conventional Approaches Episode 590 – The Consistency of Action If you like the show, would you be so kind as to leave us a short review on Apple Podcasts? A Conversation with Alex Cattoni

https://media.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/ins.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/TSM_Episode_613_Alex_Cattoni.mp3   Today my guest is Alex Cattoni, founder of The Copy Posse, “the raddest baddest crew of copywriters and entrepreneurs on the internet.” Alex helps copywriters and entrepreneurs level up their messaging with words that work. Her mission is to change modern marketing, redefine what marketing really means, and in the process, “de-douchify” the internet. She’s been in the online marketing world for 15 years, starting as an intern at Mind Valley—then doing copywriting behind the scenes for eight years, while making multiple six figures. A fellow entrepreneur encouraged Alex to speak on stages. She wanted to do more, but was afraid of putting herself out there. Full of self-doubt, Alex didn’t think she was ready or qualified. Finally, she said, “Why not me?” and gave herself permission to take the jump. She started The Copy Posse in January of 2020, when the whole world went into lockdown and was looking for ways to make money online. Alex has observed a divide in the industry between the copywriters, marketers, and entrepreneurs who are out there selling great products and services that genuinely help people—verses those who take advantage of people. Can you be successful AND be a decent human being at the same time? In this episode, we discuss: How Alex felt jaded by the BS she saw and almost went back to becoming a lawyer (which was her initial plan)How she found her sweet spot between personal development and online marketing—which paved the way for her businessThe internet’s ability to give a voice to ethical people, while also giving them a place to stand outHow the marketing model has completely shifted, and people are no longer buying in linear fashion (this is great news for entrepreneurs who genuinely love what they do—versus those who are just trying to make a quick buck)Alex’s thoughts on entrepreneurs getting rid of their copywriters and just using AI Alex says copywriting starts with marketing. It starts with foundational concepts like positioning, strategy, customer awareness, understanding your audience, and empathy. Copywriting is putting words on a page. But those words don’t mean anything unless you know what the end goal is. There’s so much crappy content being published online right now. People with important messages can rise to the top. There’s a great opportunity right now to “double down on being human.” Copy Posse Follow Alex on Instagram Episode 581 – The Entrepreneurs Guide to Detachment Episode 560 – The Secret to Closing More Sales Episode 313 – Taking Your Business Online If you like the show, would you be so kind as to leave us a short review on Apple Podcasts? The Slower I Go, the More I See, and the More I Experience

https://media.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/ins.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/TSM612_The_Slower_I_Go_the_More_I_See.mp3   “The slower I go, the more I see and the more I experience.” – Martijn Doolaard. There’s a certain “rhythm and poetry” to what Martijn is doing. Today in business, everything is about going “bigger and faster.” People I coach often say, “I need to be five steps ahead; I need to think about what I’m doing next year.” Most of that is born out of competition. When “bigger and faster” is the focus, there’s so much that we miss in life. When we slow down, we can see the beauty in things around us. When you stop competing, there’s a uniqueness in you that nobody else can compete with. In this episode I discuss: How we have to find what we love to do, and have the courage to do it (my mentor, Bob Proctor, used to ask people, “Are you in love?”)How my vision changed since COVID happened—I was going in one direction before COVID, and now I’m going in a completely different directionThe artistry, poetry, and beauty of life (it’s about taking it “one day at a time” and not worrying about what you don’t have)How people rationalize not doing what they love, because they don’t have what they need to move forward“How” we do things is not our job—that’s God’s job (our job is to make the decision to do something)The similarities between Francis Mallmann and Martijn DoolaardThe key to mastery—you have to do something consistently over a period of time, pay attention to what you’re doing, and put your heart into it There’s so much ugliness in the world today, it’s unbelievable. But what if you were to slow down? Slow the pace a bit, and start becoming more aware of what you’re doing on a regular basis. Look at something, contemplate it, and admit  that it’s beautiful. People’s brains, hearts, and emotions can’t keep up with the life they’re living. This is probably what’s creating so much mental illness in the world. It’s always “Onto the next thing.” But we have a choice. We can do something different. We can choose to love what we’re doing and live our life more elegantly. We can slow down. What’s beautiful to you? What directs you in life? Are you doing what you love? “Each morning we’re born again. What we do is what matters most.” – Buddha. If I Just Keep Pedaling Things Will Come to Me

https://media.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/ins.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/TSM611_If_I_Just_Keep_Pedaling.mp3   “If I just keep pedaling, things will come to me,” says Martijn Doolaard, author of One Year on a Bike and Two Years on a Bike, both of which I’m a huge fan of. Martijn biked all the way across Europe. On a second journey, he biked from Vancouver to the southern tip of South America. He also has a YouTube channel, where he shows himself painstakingly renovating two cabins in the Italian Alps. Watching him is like watching poetry in motion. Some might think it’s like watching paint dry—as it’s a very slow process. Yet, his channel has over 600,000 people watching his videos every week. Why is Martijn so popular? He can keep people’s attention even though the work he’s doing moves very slowly. This is part of a trend over the last couple years, where YouTube channels showing people living “off the grid” have blown up like crazy. In today’s episode I discuss: 2 things we can learn from Martijn Doolaard—why “doing what you love” is beautiful, and why it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinksHow Martijn is clearly taking a “soul path”—while demonstrating extraordinary consistency in what he’s doing (this consistency is allowing him to master things)His brilliant composition in photography and video, and how he brings beauty to his YouTube pageA video technique that’s working well with the human mind right now—switching camera angles every few seconds in order to give the brain a dopamine hitHow Martijn starts off knowing nothing, learns one step at a time, and in doing so, he’s mastering thingsThe ritual he uses to prepare his mind to work in the dark, including changing what he’s wearing, putting his head light on, having something quick to eat, and getting his mindset in a different placeHow Martijn finds beauty in everything he’s doing—from building an outhouse, to his chicken coops, and even the tragedy that happens while he’s up on the mountain I think everyone should do what they love. Martijn isn’t concerned with the cost of anything. What’s more important to him is the journey, the adventure he’s taking himself on. He focuses on “one day at a time.” If we just keep moving forward one day at a time, everything will come to us. Student Spotlight: Bryce Bell

https://media.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/ins.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/TSM610_BryceBell.mp3   Today I’m speaking with one of my clients, Bryce Bell, an attorney whose company, Bell Law LLC, specializes in helping individuals who are victims of financial abuse. “We don’t just solve our clients’ legal problems; we also show them there’s hope, that they don’t have to be victims in their own life. They can be empowered to create something else,” he says. Bryce and I have worked together for about seven years now. Before he started coaching with us, he wanted to quit his practice. He felt miserable and wasn’t enjoying life, yet he had a desire to do something greater. So, he followed his instincts and began a journey of personal growth. In this episode, we discuss: How personal growth is like a rocket leaving Earth’s orbit—its takes a lot of force to get past your mind’s initial layers of old thinking and “grooves” that run deepWhy Bryce decided to work with me (“I knew that was the next right step for me; it was an intuitive thing,” he says)How you don’t know what’s on the other side of a decision when you say “yes” to something—and your mind tries to scare you and get you to turn aroundWhy people get stuck in situations they don’t like, and don’t believe they’re worth paying the price to get out of itHow “turning points” take place in our lives, and we must give something up in order to gain something of a higher natureHow Bryce started to own the fact that he was in control of his own life—and why it was so difficult to change the part of himself that believed otherwiseHow Bryce’s company is finally crossing the 7-figure barrier for the first time this year—and his amazing experience climbing Mount Kilimanjaro  Plus, Bryce shares how his firm won a big case, resulting in over a $2.5 million settlement. He made a significant change in his mindset that allowed him to have peace of mind, knowing that he could handle and deal with problems as they come up in a rational, calm manner—without reacting and having his emotional brain hijacked. “Even if you’re working on your mindset every day, sometimes it doesn’t take much to get you off center,” Bryce says. Desire Points the Way, But Commitment Gets It Done

https://media.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/ins.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/TSM609_Desire_Points_the_Way.mp3   We live in a world where all the resources we need to be successful are already here—even if we don’t currently see them with our eyes. We have an amazing ability to manifest resources. Anything we can “see” in our mind can be created in our physical world. This is the closest you can get to “magic” or alchemy. Everything we’ve ever created first started as an image inside someone’s mind. Yet, certain ideas are passed down to us generationally that make us believe success is hard—and that we don’t have access to unseen resources. For almost 25 years, I’ve worked with hundreds of business owners. I’ve learned that the #1 thing that causes failure is people’s ability to commit to what’s necessary. Commitment is the missing piece that allows you to create whatever you desire in life. In order to commit to something, you have to trust yourself—and self-trust is often fractured because of something that happened during our childhood. In this episode you’ll learn: Success is based on cause and effect (not luck or magic)—and all success is built on being consistent in your behavior, skills, and making forward progressHow I helped people think accurately during COVID, and maneuver their way through unique challenges, so that they could come out relatively unscathed on the other sideHow I created “The Elite Mind 90 Day Program” to show my clients how to consistently build trust with themselves to follow through on their commitmentsMost people don’t realize what controls their behavior; they get locked into a subconscious pattern or idea that keeps them “safe” in the worldMost adults walk around, unconsciously wanting somebody else to give them permission, because they never made THEMSELVES the authority of their own lifeTo have a solid commitment, you need 2 things: desire and trust How many times have you said you’re going to do something and then you didn’t do it? Ask yourself, “What am I consistent with and what am I not consistent with?” To have success, you have to be able to trust yourself and trust the direction you’re going. In order to trust life, you have to be okay with the changes life brings you. Your ability to consistently follow through on things determines how successful you’ll be. Is Life Really Hard, or Are We Missing Something?

https://media.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/ins.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/TSM608_Is_Life_Really_Hard.mp3   Many people believe success—and life itself—are supposed to be hard. But is this really true? Humans have associated success with the “hard work” ethic—an idea that has been passed down to us through the lineage of our ancestors for thousands of years. But I think we’ve bought into a false idea that success has to be harder than it actually is. If we want to know the truth about something, all we need to do is look at nature. Nature has an amazing flow and perfection to it. And humans’ ideas about success being “hard” contradicts nature. Success is simply about doing things in the right way and having a strong foundation in yourself. here’s no luck or chance involved with success—it’s about doing things in a very certain way, based on cause and effect. Success is easier than we think. In this episode I share: How I’ve always had a kinship with nature that started when I was a childHow, as a child, I noticed that life was hard for people—and it left me with questions like, “Are we just missing something? What’s true about life? Why are we here? What are we supposed to do? Do we have a purpose and a destiny?”How we unconsciously accept beliefs that are passed down to us from other people without ever questioning whether or not they’re trueHow human beings are susceptible to answers that aren’t trueThe hardest question for any human being to answer—“What do you want?”—and how the voices in your head will tell you it’s not okay to want what you wantWhy time and money aren’t real obstacles (that’s just an illusion)Why people believe desiring money is bad—yet the desire to have money is really the desire to master life’s resources so that we can move forward If we’re ever uncertain about whether something is true, we can always look at nature and ask, “Do we see this in nature?” What do we want to accept as a truth for ourselves? Reframe What You Can Afford

https://media.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/ins.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/TSM607_Reframe_What_You_Can_Afford.mp3   Many people would love to do certain things in their life, but they believe they can’t afford to do them. Recently I overheard a conversation where most of the people were talking as if they can’t afford to live the life that they want. I frequently run into people who tell me about the things they’d love to do, and they just don’t have the money to do it. If you’ve ever found yourself talking like that, this episode is for you. It’s all about getting yourself to think differently about the position you think you’re stuck in. In today’s episode you’ll learn: How to break through the limitation of what most people believe their life has to beWhy achieving an above average level of wealth is actually very easyWhat would happening if you could make 50% more income—and why you’re much closer to this than you probably realizeEarning money is a skill set—it’s not tied to luck, chance, a job, or what other people think of youWhy most people have an underlying sense of vulnerability and even anxiety, because their welfare hangs on someone else paying them (e.g., a job)What your life could be like if you weren’t strapped to the hip of someone else, or tied to an income that doesn’t give you what you truly want  Episode 274 – Control & Why People Can’t Find Themselves Episode 128 – Break Free of What People Think of You Episode 41 – 15 Traits of People Pleasers If you like the show, would you be so kind as to leave us a short review on Apple Podcasts? Student Spotlight: Rosanne Austin

https://media.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/ins.blubrry.com/thesuccessfulmindpodcast/TSM606_RoseaneAustin.mp3   Today I’m speaking with my client, Rosanne Austin, creator of the Fearlessly Fertile Method. Formerly a prosecutor turned fertility coach, Rosanne helps women struggling with fertility issues improve their mindset, so they can finally get—and stay—pregnant.  Before that, she prosecuted sexual assault cases. Her goal is to help 100,000 women get and stay pregnant in the next ten years. She helps women let go of guilt and shame, while allowing themselves to have exactly what they want in life. Desiring to have a baby, at the age of 37, Rosanne was told by medical professionals that, “There’s no hope for you,” and that she needed donor eggs. She rejected what the “white coats” were telling her, and decided to follow the internal voice inside of her. Rosanne tried to “pound the problem with medicine”—driving hundreds of miles a week to get IVF treatments at a top hospital. She took all the right supplements, had an immaculate diet, and still nothing worked. Finally she realized, “The problem was me.” Somehow along the way, she had picked up the idea that “having a baby in your late 30s is hard.” She also discovered internal beliefs that were preventing her from having a child. Once she changed these beliefs about herself, she was able to have a baby boy. In this episode, Rosanne and I discuss: Her journey to become pregnantHer “rock bottom” moment when she realized there was nowhere else for her to go, except to look inwardWhy Rosanne decided to coach with me, and what her biggest transformation and learning wasWhy she started going after what she truly wanted—including buying two Rolex watches, Chanel bags, and other beautiful thingsHow Rosanne used her miscarriage as a catalyst to tell herself, “I know something bigger is coming for me”—and how she finally had a healthy son at age 43 “I was more fertile in my 40s than I was in my 30s because of the way I was thinking,” Rosanne says.
