Episode 75: Interview with Dan Pardi - All about Sleep

This episodes guest is Dan Pardi from Dan's Plan. Dan is an entrepreneur and researcher who's life's is centered on how to facilitate health behaviors in others.He is the developer of  "Loop Model to sustain Health Behaviors" to help people live a healthy lifestyle in the modern world. Dan does research with Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Department at Stanford, and the Departments of Neurology and Endocrinology at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Dan's current research looks at how sleep influences decision making (publications).  Dan also works with Naval Special Welfare to help the most elite fighters in the world maintain vigilant performance in both combat and non-combat conditions.  Formerly, Dan served as Board Chairman of the Investigator Initiated Sponsored Research Association, a global non-profit aimed to promote best practices in the arena of academic research grants. Early in his career, Dan served as a Division 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach where he designed year-round training protocols for 13 athletic teams. Episode 73: Interview with Rob Taylor

This episodes guest is Strength and Conditioning Coach Rob Taylor. Coach Taylor is the founder and owner of SMARTER Team Training. Taylor was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Loyola University Maryland for over seven years. Rob was a strength and conditioning consultant for athletes on the Women's Lacrosse's World Cup Champions Team Australia in 2005, and was the Head Strength Coach for Team Australia's 2009 World Cup team that played in the world championship game also. He has worked with professional organizations such as the Anaheim Angles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Mutiny, and San Antonio Silver Stars. Coach Taylor has has also been the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at UNC Greensboro. He left to pursue a graduate degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Delaware, while working as an assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. Rob has also worked with the athletic department at Cincinnati, Princeton, and Villanova. At each of these institutions he helped numerous athletes reach their dreams of becoming professional athletes. Rob's athletes have gone on to be drafted by the NFL, MLB, NBA, MLS, MLL, NLL, and participate in the Olympic Games.
