In Episode 34, Sofia interviews Chirstun Erwin, a women's self-defense instructor who's passion lies in teaching women to defend themselves from the moment pre-assault cues are noticed.  After Christun earned her second-degree blackbelt in karate, she began developing an interest in how women's self-defense should be taught due to common occurrences such the freeze response. Christun began training Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She has also attended multiple Extreme Close Quarter Concepts courses with Shivworks, Craig Douglas and Knife Control Concepts (KCC) with Aaron Jannetti and Eli Knight, under which is now an instructor.
