Sahil Bloom Shares Lessons On Fatherhood, Ending Friendships, Finding The Right Mountains To Climb, Being A Time Billionare & Running A 2:57 Marathon Off Of 6 Months Of Running
Today, I have the great privilege of picking the brain of one of the most inspiring figures in my life, Sahil Bloom.
Sahil is the Founding Partner at SRB Ventures, an angel investor in more than 30 companies, and over the past two years, has become a viral content creator with a following across all platforms of over 2 million. He's done all this while being a husband and father to his first child, Roman.
Before all of this, Sahil graduated from Stanford University with an M.A. in Public Policy (2014) and a B.A. in Economics & Sociology (2013). While at Stanford, he was a four-year member on the Stanford Baseball Team (2009-2013), twice helping to guide the team to NCAA Super Regional appearances (top-16 finishes). Additionally, Sahil earned two PAC-12 All-Academic Team awards and twice received the Bruce R. Cameron Memorial Award, given annually to a student-athlete exhibiting excellence in athletics, academics, and leadership. Academically, Sahil was advised in his pursuits by former Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice.
In today's episode, I pick Sahil's brain a plethora of subjects including (but not limited to): fatherhood, how to find the right partner, ending friendships, finding the right circle of friends, being a time billionare, what keeps him up at night, running a 2:57 Marathon off of six months of running, and more.
This is my favorite epsidoe in the history of the podcast due to the fact that I think there are more insights and knowledge packed into these 100 minutes than any of my other podcasts in the past... and it's not even close.

The Story Behind The Legendary Coach Patrick Henner | Insights From Coaching Mike Smith, Chris Miltenberg, Will Sumner & More
Today on the podcast is who I would consider "The Godfather" of NCAA Coaches, Coach Patrick Henner.
Coach Henner has coached Mike Smith (current coach of NAU), Chris Miltenberg (current coach of UNC, formerly Stanford), Brandon Bonsey (current coach of Georgetown), and more in his tenure. He has also coached studs Isaiah Jewett and Will Sumner over the past few years.
Prior to successful coaching stints at Georgia & USC, Henner was the director of track and field and cross country at Georgetown from 2007-15, and prior to that he had spent eight seasons as the Hoyas' head men's cross country coach and assistant coach for the men's and women's track and field team. Henner's coaching resumé also includes a nine-year stay at James Madison, where he led both the men's and women's cross country teams to their first CAA titles, trained 28 track and field All-Americans, and was twice named CAA Coach of the Year. He began his coaching career at Blacksburg High in Blacksburg, Va., where both the men's and women's teams won state championships in 1984, 1985 and 1986.
In today's episode, Coach Henner goes through his career, both coaching and his personal running journey, discusses lessons from each coaching job, principles of good coaching, what it takes to be excellent in the sport of running, and so much more. This conversation is filled to the brim with wisdom, and I'm beyond confident you'll walk away from this one with some newfound knowledge.
