Colin holds PRs of 4:16 (Mile), 8:56 (3200m), and 14:49 on the grass. He is the Tennessee State Champion, and the state meet record holder. He placed 25th at NXN and 12th at Footlocker. Colin is signed to run for Furman this Fall.
Colin has experienced a monumental progression in high school. His freshman year he held a PR of 23:59.
In today's episode, we go into Colin's training, his emphasis on strength and mobility, how he's progressed so much over the years, his message to freshmen/sophomores who want to take the next step, and much more!

Jen is a highly accomplished Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, a minor in Nutrition, and a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a Sports Nutrition emphasis. Jennifer has worked with notable organizations such as the Utah Jazz NBA team, the University of Utah Athletics (Ski & Men's Tennis), the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and the USA Volleyball Indoor National Teams. Coach Doug Soles On How To Become A Domintant High School Runner | Insights From The Coach Who Has Won NXN Twice With Two DIFFERENT Schools
Today on the podcast is one of the greatest high school coaches of all-time, Coach Doug Soles.
Coach Soles coached at Great Oak High School in Temecula, CA, for 17 years. They won 14 state XC Championships and podiumed at NXN 6 times (3 boys and 3 girls). His boys won the 2015 NXN Title. During his first XC season at Herriman in 2022, they took 3rd at NXN, and this year, Herriman won NXN, making Coach Soles the first coach to ever win NXN team titles at two separate schools.
In today's episode, Coach Soles talks about his history of success, principles of coaching, what working hard means, hunger, how to be successful as a high school distance runner, and so much more!

Stanford's Camille Peisner On NCAA Training, Mental Health, & Her Faith
Today on the podcast is my good friend Camille Peisner!
Camille competes for Stanford University in the sprints. She holds PRs of 11.88 (100m), 23.92 (200m), & 54.31 (400m) and has been a prominent force on their sprint relay teams.
In high school, Camille was a double winner at the 2021 Colorado 5A Championships in the 100 and 200 and was second in the 400. She led her team to win state 5A team titles in 2018, 2019, and 2021.
Camille is also very actively involved in leadership for Christian athletes through organizations at Stanford, as well as creating her own blog and podcast.
In today's episode, Camille walks me through training during the Holiday's, running for Stanford, mental health, her faith, attributes of successful athletes, and so much more! I absolutely loved this wide-ranging discussion and think there are so many good takeaways to be had. Don't miss this one!

Adam Fogg On His Journey From Australia To Professional Runner: Insights From A 3:55 Miler
Today on the podcast is the one and only Adam Fogg!
Adam is a Pro-Runner for Under Armour with UA Mission Run Baltimore Distance. He holds PRs of 3:35.70 (1500m), 3:55.70 (Mile), & 7:44.14 (3000). He also ran 29:26 on the track over 10,000m to win conference while representing Drake in 2021 (where he won the 1500, 5k, 10k triple).
Adam also runs a successful YouTube channel, "The FogDog Exclusive," where he has documented his journey as a runner over the past few years. He has over 14.5k subscibers.
In today's conversation, Adam walks me through what his training looks like, his progression in sport, how he got started on YouTube, the difference between college and pro runner, his ambitions for 2024, and so much more!

Inside The Life Of A D1 Runner At The University Of Notre Dame With CJ Singleton
Today on the podcast is the one and only CJ Singleton!
CJ runs for The University of Notre Dame, where he has progressed into a top runner for them. CJ took 14th at NCAA Regionals in the steeplechase (8:51.96), finished sixth in the steeplechase at Outdoor ACCs with a personal best time of 8:43.85, and 19th in the mile at Indoor ACCs (4:08.06). Earlier that season, CJ ran a PR of 4:04.55 in the mile at the Wisconsin Windy City Invite.
CJ also excels in the classroom, making the 2023 All-ACC Outdoor Academic Team & 2023 All-ACC Indoor Academic Team.
In high school, CJ was dominant in the state of Pennslyvania. He ran for Butler High School. He holds 10 school records, 5 state titles, was a 3x All-American, and a National Champion.

Dream On: From Australia To The Peak Of The NCAA - The Story Of Carley Thomas
Today on the podcast is Australian legend Carley Thomas!
If you're not familiar with Carley, she is a standout middle-distance runner hailing from Sydney, Australia, who has established herself as a formidable force in collegiate track and field. With a remarkable list of achievements, including being the 2023 Pac-12 800m Runner-Up and a record-holder in the NCAA Distance Medley Relay, Thomas has consistently showcased her prowess on the track. Notably, she secured the 2022 Pac-12 800m Championship and has been a multi-time All-America Second Team honoree for events such as the 800m and Distance Medley Relay. Thomas overcame a challenging setback in 2020, rebounding from a leg fracture to earn the National Women's Freshman of the Year title.
Her success extends beyond the track, as she has been recognized for her academic achievements, earning a spot on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team multiple times and consistently making the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll. Thomas's impressive journey reflects not only her athletic prowess but also her resilience and commitment to both academic and athletic excellence.

Graham Blanks On WINNING The 2023 NCAA XC Title & Running 13:03 In The 5k (Collegiate Record) + Workout Secrets, His Upcoming NIL Deal, & Learning Napoleon Dynamite's Dance Routine
The Champ is here | Graham Blanks returns to the podcast!
This time with an NCAA title and NCAA record to his name. Graham went undeafted all of the 2023 Cross Country season culminating in him winning the 2023 NCAA XC Title. He won in a time of 28:37.7 on Panorama Farms in Charlottesville, Virginia. He became the first-ever Ivy to win the men's cross country individual national title.
Just two short weeks later, Graham lined up for his first race of the indoor season against a historic field, and ran a breathtaking 13:03.78 to win the race and set a new Collegiate Record.
In today's conversation, Graham recaps his historic season and performances. He goes through many of the big ones, and breaks down the progress he's experinced and how he's gotten to where he is today!
