Guys, I am so lucky to have been able to buy a house with my partner, Ali, this year, and this episode is all about how I got there, along with my very practical savings tips. This is an episode I've been thinking about doing for awhile now, but I wasn't how much you would want an episode on this until someone actually requested it in my DMs. While onboarding a new client is something I've done many times, I realise it can be quite daunting your first couple of times. Hopefully this episode helps you get some key steps locked in for your first or next onboarding. It's been one year of owning my own content studio in Auckland Mackenzie Studios, and boy have I learnt some lessons along the way! Having to hand-hold customers who don't read your FAQs! Being challenged with imposter syndrome and self doubt - even though I've already done so much work on myself in this area All the maintenance costs that come with owning a physical business vs an online business. Body Corp fees anyone? Setting the business up with a recurring income - memberships! Write. Out. Your. SOPs! (Standard Operating Procedures) Trust me when I say this will help avoid miscommunication  Have the capital to invest from the beginning - you will have overheads before you start making an income.
