Ep. 31: It's a Mental Health Epidemic - Rising Suicide Rates
Happy Day, Friend! It’s suicide prevention month. Every voice and action matters. If you or someone you know needs immediate help with suicide concerns, please reach out to suicidepreventationlifeline.org or call 800.273.TALKThis is a heavy topic. Take few moments to breathe deep and process. Please share with anyone that has been impacted by depression and/or suicide. Ep. 25: Realign To Your True Self with Dr. MeMe Brown
Happy Day, Friend! I’m so thrilled for you to listen to my chat with Dr. MeMe Brown! She’s such a radically unapologetic and vibrant advocate for women, and for women of faith. We talk about Dr. MeMe’s struggle with people pleasing (where are my ladies… can y’all relate?!), which ultimately led her to realize that she went through an identity crisis where she found herself being and doing for everyone else, except for her. In this struggle, Dr. MeMe discovered that the inauthentic life she was living was suffocating the life out of her and others around her, and God desired that she be her unique self despite what others thought she should be. As Dr. MeMe says, “I chose to live.” And, live she did. She’s trailblazing a new way for women ministers and adding her own unique flare to the mix as an established speaker, revolutionary thinker, and transformational leader. You will love her journey and the vibrant wisdom she has to share. For anyone going through an identity crisis and needing a little extra inspiration and empowerment, this episode is for you!
