Period poverty is a common phrase you may have heard that talks to having a lack of menstrual products because of cost! Many NZ teenagers are missing out on school because they can’t afford period products to get them through the day.⠀This in all honesty breaks my heart and makes me feel incredibly grateful to have had a family that could always provide that for me. @_dignitynz is here to solve this! Taking ownership has become a bit of a cliche for me this year! Because we have all had to take care of ourselves to a new level. In between the storytime and endless laughs is some quality content surrounding mental health. I honestly had no idea what to title this episode but that definitely sums it up! ✨I answer a couple questions that came through around me leaving as well as why I choose to leave!
