Dr. Seema talks about preventive care, an ideal renal diet for adolescents, nursing mothers, kids and adults. In this episode we also touched upon the relationship between Kidneys and pain killers, high protein diets, carbonated drink consumption, healthy bones and blood formation and smoking.
Professor Dr. Seema holds a Fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology from the University of Toronto in addition to a Fellowship in General Pediatrics. Her area of research has primarily been genetically transmitted kidney diseases and kidney failure due to renal stones in children. She is a mother of 3 school going children and believes that striking a work life balance is the secret to her success. Her professional aim is to educate the masses so as to prevent kidney diseases altogether.
