Spring clean with us - mentally & physically
As the days are getting longer and we're past the worst of the cold winter months.. more than ever we want to consciously make the most of the coming spring.
That’s what this episode is all about - going into these (hopefully) warmer months with better habits, mindsets and in general a brighter attitude. Join us as we share some positive habits we want to implement but also share our thoughts on the darker side of spring. We talk about dealing with burnout whilst wanting to make the most of the good weather or keep up with friends. And lastly, a struggle we wish nobody had to deal with … learning to accept (and appreciate) our bodies as we move away from the oversized layers and show more of our bodies!
So pour yourself a matcha and join us! 💚 If you want to reach out to us or see any recent updates you can follow us on @the.matcha.diaries!

"ask cara & leo" pt 2 - mental health advice
Welcome to the second instalment of “Ask Cara & Leo” - our bestie style advice series. This episode is about a topic we feel very passionate about ... our mental health.
A few of our listener questions we answer are:
- “what advice would you give someone who doesn’t feel like their good enough?”
- “how to react to people making comments about your body?”
- “when to know you need to start therapy?”
- “how to rest without feeling guilty?”
As always, we want to caveat that we are in no way professionals. All advice we share is from our own personal experiences, and if you are struggling with your mental health, we do advise that you speak to a professional, or even your close family/friends who can guide you on the best help that you can get. 🤍
If you’d like to submit advice questions for a future episode or generally chat to us, then follow us on @the.matcha.diaries.

Also, we wanted to acknowledge what is happening in Europe at the moment. We are sending love to all our Ukrainian listeners and anyone affected by the horrific invasion. Go to 18:08 if you want to skip straight to the book chat (which is divided into the genres: self-help, psychological thrillers, fantasy, romance & a “no name matcha diaries” category).

Developing self love & seeing the higher purpose w/ @Its_nicolettemarie
“Self hate and self love exist on a powerful scale and each choice has an extremely different outcome. And I think it’s really easy to think you’re acting from one, when really it’s coming from the other.” - @its_nicolettemarie
In this episode we are joined by Nikki Jahnke, a lovely registered nurse and health coach. Saying that Nikki has a way with her words is an understatement. Her words are thought provoking, inspirational, and allow you to look deep inside yourself!
We cover it all in this episode - from self growth, spirituality, living life with a higher purpose, the importance of human connection, connecting with your energy, showing up as your authentic self online, truly practicing self love, the power of your mind against your ‘ego’, and so much more!
We just want to give a disclaimer, there is a bit of background noise in this episode and we truly do apologise for it x We want to give a trigger warning for this episode because we talk about eating disorders, so if you think this could negatively impact you in any way, then please don’t listen to this specific episode - but we’ll be excited to have you back next week. If it does please do reach out to friends/ family for support or any professional if you can!
So... pour yourself a matcha and we hope you enjoy listening! 🍵 Follow us on instagram (@the.matcha.diaries) to stay up to date on our lives or to let us know your thoughts on the episode!
