The Memory Metal: A Smoking Gun of The Roswell Crash
One of the most intriguing aspects of the Roswell incident is the memory metal recovered from the crash site. This metal, described as lightweight with incredible shape recovery properties, could not be cut or scratched. The investigation traced the origins of this memory metal, known as NITINOL, back to the wreckage at Roswell Army Airfield. The materials were then sent to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and eventually analyzed at Battelle Memorial Institute. Although Battelle laundered the results through the Naval Ordnance Lab, NITINOL's composition of titanium and nickel closely resembled the mysterious memory metal described by witnesses. This discovery serves as a compelling piece of evidence supporting the existence of unusual materials associated with the Roswell crash.
Consistent Descriptions of Alien Beings
Numerous witnesses who claim to have seen alien beings at the Roswell crash site provide remarkably similar descriptions. The beings were generally described as three and a half to four feet tall with frail bodies weighing approximately 35 pounds. They had long arms that reached down to their knees and oversized, pear-shaped heads. The aliens were typically described as gray in color and had two nostril-like holes in the place of a nose. Their mouths were small slits that did not connect to any internal cavity. Additionally, the beings lacked external ears and were completely hairless. Despite slight variations in color descriptions, witnesses consistently provided accounts of the same creature.
Surviving Alien Encounter at Roswell
According to witnesses, one of the most remarkable aspects of the Roswell incident was the encounter with a surviving alien being. Witnesses reported observing a living being of similar characteristics to the deceased aliens found at the crash site. Fireman Dan Dwyer, who defied orders and went to investigate the crash site, claimed to have witnessed a living alien walking among the wreckage. Although Dwyer later passed away, his daughter Frankie Rowe shared his account. He described the being as a 'child of the earth,' reminiscent of a large insect or land scorpion, with a pinkish face and distinct markings on its head. Dwyer claimed that communication occurred telepathically, with conversations happening mentally rather than using language as we know it. This remarkable encounter adds a compelling dimension to the Roswell incident.
Existence of Foreign Technology Division at Wright Patterson Air Force Base
The so-called foreign technology division, known as FTD, was the division at Wright Patterson Air Force Base that housed all the foreign technology, including the Roswell wreckage and bodies. It was where the physical evidence was analyzed, back-engineered, and stored. Initially, this division was the real Area 51 before it moved to Nevada in the early 90s. Despite Area 51 being widely known, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, where FTD was located, remains relatively unknown.
Other Alleged Crashes and the Myth of Hanger 18
Apart from the Roswell incident, there have been claims of other crashes in post-Roswell years. However, these cases lack substantial evidence and are often attributed to hoaxes or have just one witness. The story of Hanger 18, often associated with Wright Patterson Air Force Base, is a misnomer. The actual complex where the alleged alien wreckage was stored and studied is known as the Building 18 Complex, with Hanger 23 being the specific location. The myth of Hanger 18 originated in Florida in 1974 when a self-proclaimed professor, Robert Spencer Carr, began spreading stories he heard from retirees who worked at Wright Patterson. These stories were distorted over time and led to the belief in the existence of Hanger 18.
In this episode, I talk to Thomas J. Carey, the co-author of UFO Secrets Inside Wright-Patterson. Along with his co-author, Donald R. Schmitt, Carey has spent over 30 years investigating the Roswell incident and tracing the trail of the materials and bodies that were recovered there all the way to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and beyond. They have published a dozen books on the subject (links below).
Among the many stunning revelations in this episode is the true identity and location of the fabled Hangar 18, the 2 undeniable smoking guns of the Roswell incident, an in-depth account of what became of the infamous “memory metal” recovered at Roswell, and detailed accounts of the non-human pilots of these craft.
