In 1947, right field and Patterson field merge to become right Patterson Air Force Base. That's where the MiG-15s wound up for back engineering. The biological material went to right field as well because that's where we had our advanced biomedical laboratories and hospital. And I think what was the Lockheed shooting star and the saber jet,. the same North American saber jet, was a result of that.
