Episode 230: Marketing With Video For Your Practice With Craig Spinks From Veteos
In Today's Episode, Craig Spinks from Veteos joins me on the podcast to take a deep dive into video marketing for your veterinary practice. We talk all about video and cover video marketing, production, creation, and more. Craig got his start in video production over 20 years ago and has been working exclusively with the vet industry for over the last 5 years creating and producing top notch high quality videos for veterinary practices. Videos for most veterinary practices have been a weak point as video production and creation can come off overwhelming and difficult for busy practices. But videos can be one of the most effective content an marketing mechanisms when done right. Videos have so much benefit to them as they have an additional element than text and that is emotion. Through video you can connect, create bonds, and convey what cant come through text.  The great thing about how fast modern day technology moves is how we now have high quality cameras sometimes in our very hands. So while amazing cameras do exist not necessarily are the deal breaker to being able to produce and create high quality content for your practices marketing. Video is a tool you can use in your marketing to reach your practices digital marketing goals.  Be sure to check out Veteos on demand where you can use Veteos templates to create your own high quality high production videos. Or get in contact to learn how we can a create custom video for your practice. Or check out Veteos new co produce option where we take the best parts of both options an work together to create your videos. You can check all this at Veteos website here  Be sure to listen and let me know if you have any questions, comments, or need help with anything! In Today's Episode, Brian Macrae from Rethink Veterinary Solutions and Rethink Loyalty joins me for the third time on the podcast! We talk about wellness plans, memberships, payment plans, and marketing with loyalty in mind. Brian has been working in the veterinary space since 2012 by creating the Rethink Veterinary Solutions and actually was how I got involved and started in the veterinary industry.  The goals of providing memberships and wellness plans in your practice for your clients are to retain and keep your current clients, have your clients come in more frequently, and gain more new clients. Having clear goals will help you market even better. Key elements for making your memberships and wellness plans work for your practice are setting up your plans to be as automated as possible for your administration. Having also it made easy and clear to articulate to clients will help your adoption rate. Creating the most ideal loyalty reward program for today would be taking the elements from both a membership structure and a wellness program and combining them together to create a payment plan that is automated for ease of clients. And we cover so much more. Be sure to listen and let me know if you have any questions, comments, or need help with anything! We are celebrating 7 years of The Veterinary Marketing Podcast! Over the last 7 years, it has been amazing to see just how far digital marketing and veterinary practices have come and how much they have grown over the years.  In these last 7 years, we have seen an immense amount of growth in digital marketing, with growth comes competition and with competition comes needing to stand out. In today's episode, I am sharing 7 important lessons you can apply to your veterinary practice's digital marketing so your practice can stand out. Here are 7 things you can do to make sure your marketing stands out: 1) Create A Client Avatar- Having a client avatar helps you know exactly how you do want to target and market to and who you do not want to target. Creating your perfect client and really getting specific about what are their wants, needs, and problems will give you a clear direction of what to market to them. 2) Have Specificity- Tying in with the first lesson, having very specific content and offers will help you really target the best audience for your practice 3) Dial In Your Offers- What does your audience want or need and how can you make an offer be valuable to your ideal clients. 4) Use Landing Pages- Get specific with your offers and make their own landing pages. 5) Have Goals- Defining and having very clear and specific goals will help your digital marketing go so much smoother by knowing exactly what you are expecting. 6) KPIs- Measuring your goals with KPIs and being aware of if you are reaching the clear goals you have decided. 7) Build Assests- Create content, email sequences, text sequences, etc that can be used over and over again and even automated will save you so much time. Episode 226: Content Creation Strategies For Your Veterinary Practice
In today's episode, I go over content, content types, content creation, and content strategies for your veterinary practice. While we have gone over content in the past, the world and how content creation is done have changed. With creating content it is super important to have a content strategy that you exacts of who you are targeting and what you are putting out. With how much content is out on the internet it is important to move away from general info and content. With your content, you will want to have high quality and high value information you are providing your audience with. Let's talk about the content types that are working now and in the future and the 4 mediums you can use: Text-Blog Post Image-Facebook, Instagram, and social posts Audio- Podcasts and Video- Most bang for your buck option because it can be used for years over and over again  An example of a content strategy I would use in a veterinary practice would be. Knowing who I want to target, who I want coming through the door and what they are interested in. Create 1 pillar piece of content a month that is super high quality. And create this content that is very specific and niche for your unique audience. Creating long form content (which is content that lasts over 10 minutes long) allows you to stand out by providing your audience super high quality information and content that is valuable.
