Cheyanne got her start in veterinary medicine as a vet assistant. She was introduced to the world of social media marketing in the veterinary space by being given the task of updating the practice's Facebook page. Now she runs her own brand, Hey Cheyanne where she is a social media marketing educator and coach helping other Veterinary practices. We are now seeing a shift in social media in general but definitely in veterinary marketing. And something that practices need to figure out is. What is the core reason or why you are using social media in your practice? That is the key practices need to find so they can effectively have their marketing work and attract the clients you want to draw in. Episode 235: Michael Shirley Sharing Community Marketing Campaigns That Help Your Veterinary Practice Grow

Michael Shirley from Family Pet Health joins us again! In today's podcast, We cover how to do community marketing by how to use a podcast to get on radio stations, creating events in your local community area, writing for local newspapers, and much more. Community marketing is a great way to build awareness of your practice while actively growing your clientele right around you and becoming a known name of the community. Michael shares how he creates and produces his content for his community marketing.  Create your podcast contact with a script or at least an idea of what topic you'll be covering. As well as creating content for your client avatar and what they want to learn and hear about. Invest in a good microphone, can be small and portable to have great sound quality. Having an easy to use editing software either on your phone or desktop is also very helpful. Michael likes Twisted Wave for phones and Audacity  Once the podcast is created and ready to go it can be sent out to local radio stations which can take 30 seconds to 1 minute clips that can be used as news for pet owners. Also, create podcast content that you can share with your client's insight and behind the scenes of your practice. You can create and write a press release of local pet issues and news that are happening and send them to local newspaper companies or even online newspapers. Michael created an event for the Walk My Dog Program and teamed up with 8 local businesses to sponsor them and their event giving out prizes for people at the event.  Be sure to be on the lookout for the upcoming Podcast course coming soon! Episode 234: All About Tracking Your Marketing

In Today's episode, I talk all about tracking your marketing and specifically marketing metrics. It is no surprise that tracking your marketing has become more difficult within the last few years. With the Apple IOS 14s privacy update, IOS 15 with even more changes is on the horizon. and even Google has added difficulties to tracking your digital marketing.  With both Apple and Google coming against Facebook tracking pixels it has made marketers have to find different ways to track conversions and metrics. I share some ways you can create easy ways to see where your traffic is going. 1 Have Google analytics and 2 Google Tag Manager installed on every page of your website 3 Set up pages based on channels- Create landing pages for specific channels so you know where that click came from 4 Use UTM Codes- We went over what UTM codes are and do in the last episode in depth. With both of these, we need to be increasing revenue and growth which should be the primary focus on digital marketing. With increasing revenue, we need to do it the most effective way possible with out having you and your staff burnt out. Ask these questions in your marketing. -What services can I offer that will generate the highest margin revenue? What is the best use of your time? -Which of these services do you love doing the most? How can you still enjoy your job and make it fun? -Who is the minimum viable audience for these services?  Target the people that truly need an want your services.
