TRE 224 - Milad Yek - Push Through Fear
Milad Yek is a serial entrepreneur passionate about inspiring other young adults to create and live a life by design. He is currently the CEO and co-founder of NowOne Ventures. An e-commerce forward incubator company and he is building and managing multiple 7-8 figure online direct-to-consumer retail stores. Milad started in sales, working his way from telemarketer to closer, to manager and Head BPO. His company asked him to go to the Philippines and build a call center, only to return and find out that he and his team were laid off. He decided to start calling companies in the area and offering SEO services, and that’s how he built an SEO agency. Eventually, he had to shut his business and file for bankruptcy, and it took him a lot to make himself back up. As someone who has found himself with his back against the wall many times, from incarceration at the age of 20 to building a 7 figure advertising agency only to losing it to a lawsuit and ultimately filing bankruptcy, followed by a divorce, he always found a way to move forward. In this episode, Milad talks about starting again after failing, conquering your fear, and taking action to follow your dream.
