Healing From Pornography Addiction
Pornography is all over the place. It plagues so many lives and is incredibly addictive. Justin says that pornography is evil and works in secrecy. It thrives in shame.
Satan takes advantage of the powerful gifts that God has given us (the power of procreation) and tricks us into believing false things about those gifts. One of those trickeries is pornography.
David says that we all know pornography isn’t of God. He said that we need to move past our focus on the fact that it’s bad but to focus on repentance and change.
If you are addicted to pornography, DON’T give up on yourself. Do not feel like you are weak. Everyone on this earth is imperfect and it’s our great opportunity to repent and change. Repenting, as David said, is a battle. But God works miracles.

Why I’m coming back to Church | Lee Liston
In this episode, Lee came to chat with us about his experience leaving the Church of Jesus Christ (otherwise known as the Mormon church) and coming back. He talks about how the process in coming back can be extremely challenging, due to changes in behavior and desires, but that with faith and hope, IT’S WORTH IT. Lee is witty, positive, and so easy to talk with.
Lee has had all kinds of opportunities in front of the camera, of which he is grateful, but that nothing compares to the spirit he feels when feeling at peace with himself and with God.
Lee gives an INCREDIBLE testimony that you don’t want to miss.
We love Lee and are positive you’ll love him too!!

Mormons Explain Kolob
If you're a Mormon, it's likely that you've heard the word "Kolob" but don't know much about what it means. Or maybe you've seen the Book of Mormon musical and have heard that Mormons believe that God lives on a planet called "Kolob." Is Kolob truly the location where God lives? Or is it all metaphorical?

Worldwide Membership (Sistas In Zion)
This week we had an incredible guest on our show, Tamu Smith! Tamu is one of the two "Sistas In Zion" and coauthor of the book "Diary of Two Mad Black Mormons."
Watch along as we talk about how our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) is a global church. We spread throughout all parts of the earth. It is a common misconception that we are a church only in the USA.

Was I called to the WRONG mission??
In the Church of Jesus Christ (otherwise known as the Mormon Church), young adults are called to serve full-time missions. A member who chooses to serve will submit an application with no knowledge as to where in the world they will go. The leaders of the Church then determine where the person will go based on the need of missionaries in different areas and on inspiration.
HOWEVER. Culturally in the Church of Jesus Christ, it is believed that the mission to which you are going is the exact mission for you. So when missions change due to the inability to obtain a visa or other reasons, are you no longer where you are "supposed to be?"
In this episode, the hosts talk about their mission experiences and opinions as to whether or not there is a "correct" mission.

Living with Mental Illness
After losing 17 pounds in one month and being frozen with fear, Sabrina decided to get some help with her anxiety. Do you currently suffer from a mental illness that gets in the way of your every day life? Do you feel like an untreated mental illness can make it more difficult to feel God’s Influence? In this episode, Kwaku, Justin, Mimi, and our guest Sabrina talk about the struggles of anxiety and it’s effects on daily life.
“One day I just woke up and I felt like me again!” For years, Sabrina tried to deal with anxiety on her own until a friend helped her that God will help her as she uses her resources like modern day medicine. Elder Holland said, “if you had appendicitis, God would expect you to seek a priesthood blessing and get the best medical care available. So too with emotional disorders. Our Father in Heaven expects us to use all of the marvelous gifts He has provided in this glorious dispensation.”
“It’s not in people’s control.” Sabrina goes on to explain that anxiety and the need for medication are not things that can be cured with self help books and a strong personality. Do you think that living a healthy life can completely substitute medical treatment?

Do I HAVE to Get Married in the TEMPLE??
Members of the restored Church (otherwise known as the Mormon Church or LDS Church) often emphasize getting married in one of the religion's many temples. We believe that marriage in the temple can last for all eternity, not just this life.
But do you HAVE to get married in the temple? What happens if you don't? And what would prevent you from getting married in the temple?
Justin, David, and Mimi talk about the reasons why you should get married in the temple as well as why it's okay to NOT get married in the temple.

Why are there so many Mormon entrepreneurs?
In a recent Jimmy Fallon video featuring Guy Raz from 'How I Built This,' Raz talks about what members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as Mormons) learn early on that makes them great entrepreneurs.
Jimmy and Guy talk about LDS missions and the mentality that comes with constant rejection. Guy also talks about his podcast interview with founder of JetBlue Airlines, David Neeleman (a member of the Church of Jesus Christ), and how Neeleman believes members of the Church become such good entrepreneurs.

Advice from a recovering perfectionist | ft. Ganel-Lyn
We have Ganel-Lyn back on the show for a remarkable episode on being broken. WE LOVE GANEL-LYN AND WE LOVE BEING BROKEN.
All of us have been (okay, are) broken. There are things in our life, our family, our persona, etc that just don't fit the mold of perfection. Why do I have to work so hard to understand simple concepts? Why do I feel differently than my family about particular topics? Why is it so hard to shake my addiction? Why am I depressed when I want to be whole? There are so many ways in which we feel broken and guess what. IT'S OKAY. You don't have to fit any mold. Everyone is going through something and your trial is as valid as any other. Ganel-Lyn mentions the suicide of her sister and says that no matter what you are going through, STAY. Stay on earth. You are needed and you are loved.
If you have difficulty with perfection, please let us know. Feel free to shoot us a DM on Instagram, we'd love to chat
