Man sees GOD and JESUS!!
Back in 1820, Joseph Smith, a young 14-year-old boy saw God and Jesus face-to-face! You may have heard stories about Joseph Smith and his hand in helping to restore the Church of Jesus Christ in modern days. But have you ever heard the story from those that truly believe?
In this episode, we talk about Joseph Smith and his encounter with God and Jesus Christ (often called 'The First Vision'). We talk about how Joseph was an average boy looking for answers from his soul, just like many of us (average people looking for deep answers from our soul).

Hilarious reaction to Christian memes 😂
It’s our first time reading these funny Christian memes and they've got us laughing and cringing! We looked up the top Christian memes on the internet and are surprised with what we found... haha. Tell us more if we missed any good ones!
But first! Are Mormons considered Christians? Great question! The official name of the Church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (sometimes shortened as "Church of Jesus Christ," "LDS Church," or "Mormon Church). The official title contains the name of Jesus Christ and all of the doctrine of the Church is centered on Jesus. The Book of Mormon, a companion to the Bible, is called, "The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ." WE LOVE JESUS CHRIST AND HIS DOCTRINE! Our core and foundation is Jesus Christ so yes, we consider ourselves Christians (followers of Jesus Christ)

Our thoughts about early returned missionaries | ft. Cameron Condie
Today we got to chat with Cameron! Cameron served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the Mormon Church) and had a fabulous time. However, during his time with a particular companion, he learned an extremely valuable lesson.
Cameron loved his companion and said he was one of the most dedicated missionaries he ever knew. He began to experience health issues and was unable to dedicate himself, despite having a strong desire to do so. The thought of going home early is incredible difficult for most missionaries so there was certainly fear in the thought of going home. But there came a point when the best option was to go home. Cameron quickly wrote a letter to the parents of this missionary and his letter went viral. To this day, he claims that he didn’t write the letter but that it was guided by God.

Love people where they are NOW | Feat. Ganel-Lyn
We're back with everyone's favorite speaker, Ganel-Lyn! We have so much fun with Ganel-Lyn every time we chat with her and are SO grateful that she came to talk about loving all people. The world needs so much love right now. Everyone is trying to get through something hard, whether it be the difficulties in social distancing, chronic illness, broken hearts, broken families, whatever it may be! Ganel-Lyn emphasizes the importance of loving people right where they are and how they are. Stop loving them strictly for who they will be one day but who they are right now.

Why Don't Mormons Pray to Jesus?
A Mormon prayer starts by addressing God the Father in some fashion. Mormons then fill the prayer with whatever they find appropriate. They then conclude "in the name of Jesus Christ, amen" or some variation of ending in Christ's name. Mormons ONLY address the Father, unlike other religions which will go through the virgin, saints or others. But Mormons don't believe that there is a mediator between them and God. They believe in being able to speak to God directly.

So whether or not you're reading the Book of Mormon for the first time or if you've read it many times, you'll want to watch this video!

Why is Isaiah in the Book of Mormon?
The Book of Mormon quotes Isaiah more than any other prophet. However, many people call the words of Isaiah "too difficult to understand" or even "boring." David, Kwaku, and Mimi all agreed that they don't enjoy reading Isaiah when reading the Book of Mormon.
We brought our long-time friend Stephen Smoot back to the show to talk about how to better understand Isaiah and get the most out of scripture study. Stephen recently graduated with a Masters degree in Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations from the University of Toronto. He's been involved in all-things Book of Mormon and as always, we're very lucky to have him on the show.
