Jarvis has led the Bruins since their inception as a NCAA Division I institution in 1998, leading Belmont to four conference championships and its two NCAA Tournament berths in 2011 and 2012.As a coach, Jarvis has culminated an overall record of 1,034-797-2 in 34 years as a head coach and helped produce nine seasons in which the Bruins garnered 30 or more wins. The team constructed a program-best 39 wins during both the 2012 and 2022 seasons.Not only has Jarvis lifted Belmont Baseball to new heights, but he is also in elite company in NCAA Division I baseball. Jarvis is one of just 16 active head coaches to record 700 or more Division I wins at their current school.Jarvis has developed 29 players from Belmont who have gone on to play professional baseball, including current San Diego Padres infielder/outfielder Matt Beaty and 2022 MLB Draft pick Guy Lipscomb, who was selected No. 151 overall by the Cleveland Guardians to become the highest draft selection in program history. In addition to his on-field success, Jarvis has helped his players excel in the classroom.
