Nic Peterson - How To Define Success To Reach Your Goals Faster

From being homeless to becoming a formidable strongman to switching gears to a successful business entrepreneur, you’ll really enjoy today’s show with Nic Peterson. We dive into his interesting past, how he’s been able to use his method of zero loss aversion to starting a host of various businesses, and how he’s partnered with some brilliant minds to not only better himself, but showcase his improvement to others and turning it into a well-known fitness and nutrition business.  He also talks about the gym he started where he went from actually living in the warehouse-like building to transforming it into one of the biggest, highest priced gyms in the area, catering to high-end clients. In addition to all the companies he runs which include a specific type of mastermind, he chats about how he’s able to do it all, setting priorities correctly, and how you too can zone in to reach your goals as quickly as possible. If you like some of what Nic has to say, be sure to check out these past episodes with Dan Kuschell and Marx Acosta-Rubio that really hit home about taking aligned action to become the protagonist in your own life story.  “You may have priorities that are diametrically opposed. You have to pick one, then attack the other one. A lot of people want to have as much money right now as possible but they also want to have as many followers as possible, so you have to pick one. Make a bunch of money, then pay for followers or get a bunch of followers then make money from them. You’re not going to go anywhere if you are trying to maximize both at the same time.” - Nic Peterson Some Topics We Discussed Include: How Nic went from homeless to making $100k with his mastermind Getting out of your slump with projects that don’t excite you Attracting high-end clients by saying the right words From powerlifting to losing weight and the birth of a nutrition company How to set your priorities to determine which one should come first Why not to name the puppy at the shelter - don’t even think about it! Steven Kotler - How To Create And Leverage Flow States

We are stoked to have Steven Kotler on today’s show as this is one of those episodes we are super curious as to what he’s doing and wanted to dive into the massive body of work he’s done. Most of Steven’s work deals with flow and peak performance as well as converging technologies and futurism. He also does a lot of work with Peter Diamandis and has a new book co-authored with Peter, called The Future Is Faster Than You Think. This book is part of their trilogy of books and will show how you can combine these exponential technologies and systems and stack them. He also dives into why flying cars, blockchain, and other cool things like that are changing at a super rapid pace. We even talk about how this all relates to COVID as well as some actual benefits of the current situation we find ourselves in.   This is a fly on the wall conversation talking about futurism, how to get into flow, whether you can get into flow synthetically, and how to change our brain’s default from thinking negatively.  We also discuss your primary and secondary activities, which one you should focus on for fun and for work, plus Steven even told us which country is leading the charge in drone technology (and it’s not from where you think). We know you are going to love this show as much as we did, and when you are done be sure to check out our episodes with Craig Ballantyne and Dave Asprey for more discussion on living a high performing life. “When you are talking about peak performance, there’s no such thing as a hack. There’s only one thing - there’s getting your biology to work for you rather than against you.” - Steven Kotler  Some Topics We Discussed Include: Which country now leads the world in drone technology? What’s cool with COVID The hippie speedball recipe for a quick boost Your primary and secondary activities and which you should use for work Ways to tell if you are in flow What the future holds for the middle class The faster way that we know of, to calm yourself down Everything you ever wanted to learn about rocket science in just one sentence And much, much more! David Jenyns - Business Systems That Create Time, Reduce Errors And Scale Profits

Today we are chatting with David Jenyns from Systemology who not only has an awesome voice but is a lot of fun to talk to. We dive into David’s history and how he was able to take an idea from a well-known book and have a unique success story with his own similar venture. We also chat all about his methods of systemizing his own businesses over the years, the benefits of bringing systems into a business, how to approach it with a simple checklist if you are just starting out, and how to hire someone to assist you in the process, if need be. David also gives us a great backstory of how he got the opportunity to work with a famous author, which in turn led to a boatload of other opportunities, all of which would never have happened if he did not have his own working systems in place. Roland Frasier & Oliver Schmalholz - How To Create Both Long And Short-Term Wins As An Affiliate

We have a special show today that we planned with two of our business partners - Roland Frasier & Oliver Schmalholz. We are talking about a new endeavor that we are involved in and thought it would be really cool to share, so our listeners can hear what we’ve been up to.  It’s a new entity called Unicorn Equity, and we are working with Roland and Oliver in this new company, who are two of the most brilliant minds we know. Roland is a dealmaker extraordinaire, and he’s been doing all these online challenges where people are learning about all the different interesting deal structures he's doing to buy and sell businesses and to get a majority stakeholder ownership of the businesses so he can direct it. Then we have Oliver on the call, who is also a dealmaker plus a tech wizard and has figured out how how to build out this platform. Unicorn Equity gives us the ability to build a long term portfolio of asset companies, that we really like, as affiliate marketers. We don’t have to change anything, we are just earning into a company where we can pick and choose how much cash or how much equity we want to earn per sale. On the other hand, there are SAAS founders and software companies who are looking for marketing help and they’re willing to invest a portion of equity in their ownership of their company in exchange for that with that ownership being deferred into the future.   You’re also going to hear about some creative deals that both Roland and Oliver have done as well as an epic challenge that Roland was working on that has gone really well. Plus you’ll hear an update as to what’s ahead for the next Traffic & Conversion Summit. We know you’ll enjoy our previous show with Roland too, where we discussed - ‘How To Scale Your Business By Acquiring Other Businesses’ and ‘A Step-By-Step System to Decide Which Opportunities To Pursue’.  “That's been a theme throughout my entrepreneurial career - to focus on subscription products, where you only have to make a sales effort once….then also leverage distribution channels on a success fee basis, only.” - Oliver Schmalholz “I drove million roughly $1,300,000 in revenue to that over a six-day period as an affiliate and as the number one affiliate broke records and made several hundred thousand dollars and immediately realized that all I had done was built someone else's brand. While I liked getting the commission money it didn't make sense as a business model for me because I wanted to build wealth and the affiliate model as it is currently engineered is really a short term model.” - Roland Frasier  Some Topics We Discussed Include: What to expect at the next Traffic & Conversion Summit later in the year How the four of us got together to bring this to fruition Working with fellow affiliates for the best interest of all, not as competitors Previous deals with Roland and Oliver have worked on Requirements for SAAS companies with Unicorn Diversifying your risk for long term growth and revenue All the benefits of working with high performing marketers that business may have not yet realized Different ways of earning cash as an affiliate with this model How you can be an affiliate too, even if you’ve never sold anything before Resources From Roland Frasier & Oliver Schmalholz: UnicornEquity.io Business Lunch Podcast with Oliver Schmalholz References and Links Mentioned: EPIC challenge UnicornEquity.io - sign up here to become an affiliate Traffic & Conversion Summit Are you ready to be EPIC with us?! Will Kleidon - The Most Innovative Company In The World Of Cannabis

Today’s show was such a fascinating conversation that we already have plans to bring Will back. This is a content-packed show where we talk about how cannabis is grown, how much use is possible with this, and how Will is spearheading this entire ripple effect using the cannabis plant. He is probably the most knowledgeable person we've ever talked to on the topic of cannabis and he has a storefront and experience center with massage, acupuncture, and a terpene mood lounge where they can custom curate where the cannabinoids go in the body. They also manufacture in Nevada and have a genetics farm in Oregon where they've developed a catalog of over 500 unique strains. Will has literally been studying this stuff for a long time and has connected with investors in Silicon Valley, in order to create an insane amount of patents for the usage of cannabis. He's working with craft beer companies, companies that make jets and batteries as well as some big companies in Canada. We also discuss the impact of farming and folks with PTSD. Will holds the patents on most of these items and he’s thinking five minutes ahead of everyone else. If you've ever been curious about what's capable with cannabis plants, how they're grown, the science behind it, and what they're actually doing in your body when you take them, then there are so many little nuggets of wisdom in this thing. We also talk about how to get rid of the high if you don’t want it anymore, almost instantly. When you are done, be sure to check out our shows with Theo Lucier and Joe Cohen for more insight into biohacking for better health and productivity. “I just had this funny intuition that they were somehow going to be important. And it turns out with cannabis, it's a very unique plant in that it’s the most diverse terpene producing plant. So you can have one that smells like citrus, another one that smells like diesel engine and another one for pine.” - Will Kleidon Some Topics We Discussed Include: How soldiers 100 years ago carried ganja hashish candies in their pockets - on purpose The benefits of flow engagement and how to hack your way into a flow state Terpenes, gamma rays, and endocannabinoid system optimization (trust us - it’s fascinating!) How to determine if you are more effective at producing cannabinoids naturally A look at the history of oxidative stress in society over the years The importance of being intimately interconnected with our ecosystem When cannabis was known as a “treasure herb” Take too much THC? Will has the go-to on how to get you sober in just five minutes Why you definitely want to eat a restaurant with six or fewer menu items How to find your sweet spot and pinpoint an effective dose each day And much, much more!
