1477: Growing Your Brand Without Wasting Time and Money with Alex Sanfilippo Founder and Co-Owner of Creating a Brand
Alex Sanfilippo is the host of the top 20 entrepreneurship podcast, Creating a Brand, and the founder of the Creating a Brand Community, an online mastermind/tribe for entrepreneurs. Alex is passionate about helping others excel in life and business. “gain clarity on your purpose. What is so important for us to do is to figure out the why behind the what we are doing. We are driven by the what right. Many of us say we are all driven people. We are working hard, we are disciplined but if we can remember the why which is the purpose, the anchor behind what we are doing it’s going to help us to go so much further. I find the best way to get that clarity is to visualise the end result. Where do you want to be? Where do you want to end up ultimately? What mark do you want to leave on the world when you are gone? When we can gain that clarity and figure out where we are, we can visualise ourselves the end of that path the journey in the middle become so much easier to be able to navigate. If you are at the beginning of it or even the middle of it being able to see that end destination helps you. And also, just remembering hey I am going to get there. When things get tough it’s like no I am still striding on, I know what I am going for ”…[Listen for More] Click Here for Show Notes To Listen or to Get the Show Notes go to https://wp.me/p6Tf4b-7nx

1476: Removing Choice and Creating Systems to be More Effective with Marc Azoulay Founder and Owner of Marc Azoulay LLC
Marc Azoulay is a psychotherapist in private practice in Boulder, CO and the current President of the Four Corners Group Psychotherapy Society. He helps clients that have a harmful relationship to their inherent aggression or who are stuck in the pain of their repetition compulsions. Many of his clients struggle with addiction, trauma, and self-harm. Marc helps people uncover and destroy the unconscious barriers that cripple them by using a blend of Modern Psychoanalytic and Contemplative Psychotherapy. His therapeutic style can best be described as irreverent with surprising moments of profound depth. “connecting with other people that get it: I think that’s a key one. But I think another one that I would add is trying to understand your past, understand your stories. There is a lot of power in the unconscious part of our mind, there is a lot of power in this idea of a heroes journey. In a lot of mythology there is this idea that a hero has an early wound. And for a lot of us that happens in our childhood, maybe it’s trauma, maybe it’s where you are born. And in order to be a hero they go through this whole process where the wound becomes the strength and one is able to incorporate it. And I think if entrepreneurs can really take the time either through psychotherapy or coaching or just through reading books or doing self inquiry they can start to understand their life story and draw power from the things they are ashamed of because everybody has those things. But there is a way to reframe it, a way to fail through it and process it and those become our biggest strengths and those become what eventually contributes to bring our genius out into the world”…[Listen for More] Click Here for Show Notes To Listen or to Get the Show Notes go to https://wp.me/p6Tf4b-7ns

We can be the ones that stop ourselves from living the life of our dreams… The voice that is inside of our head… If instead that voice were not inside of our head but it was a person sitting next to us on the couch … We would look at that person the way that they talk to us and we would say you need to leave. You need to get up, you need to go right out of the front door and never talk to me ever again because this is rude this is not acceptable the way that you are talking to me. Lee Lam had an impressive career in Financial Services Technology, experience that gives her unique insight into the most effective team designs for startups. She now works with entrepreneurs and startups to help them avoid operational and strategic blindspots that can impact their potential and impede further growth. “find people who understand you. There are so many entrepreneurs in the world you will find that they congregate around each other and I realised the reason for that is because it is such a unique mindset.
