Episode 512: My Thoughts Monday #169- Jay DeMayo- My Personal New Year’s Resolutions
“Don’t wait until you’re 40, jaded, grey, tired all the time, and kind of beaten and worn down looking if I look at myself in the camera right now, to sit here and start this because the most powerful thing in the world is compounding interest.”This My Thoughts Monday is brought to you by Vald Performance. Vald’s constant drive to help coaches find better information to drive more educated directions is second to none. Check out this weeks Metric Minute and make sure to go check out all their great products at: www.valdperformance.com A year ago, this time, who would have thought we would be where we are now? Not me, that’s for sure. But looking back on 2020, it has been a year of a ton of growth for me, and because of this, it has made me ask some different questions and really refocus on where I am personally. I’ve tried to continue to challenge myself, and push boundaries. This has led to some things that I am going to try to do differently to be better, and one of those is to write down and share my new year’s resolutions. It’s only two things, but I think that these will really help me continue to grow and become a better all-around person, plus hold me accountable to it putting it online. Those are: read (and invest in) 10 pages a day minimum, and pay myself first.ENJOY THE CONTENT?
