Relating to Self - Cayo

"You can love yourself in almost every small action during the day" Relating to Self is a podcast that explores how we relate to ourselves. Joachim has conversations with interesting people to learn how they improve their relationship with themselves in order to bring positive change to their lives. "I choose to see the beauty of myself and that can amplify self-love", Cayo points out early on. He then goes further to suggest that we should love ourselves as we love those we've fallen in love with - with compassion and unconditionally. He reminds us that this is available to everybody. "It's the small deeds, the mindful little tweaks that I do, mindfully at the beginning and then at some points they're just there." speaks Cayo about his self-love practice. And although he admits that more of the things he does in a day are not self-loving in particular, as opposed to the expressions of his self-love, his mindset allows him not to focus on what he's not doing or what he cannot do. Cayo also has a suggestion for a way we can relate to ourselves: he advises us to appreciate parts of our body before they are in pain or no longer functioning. Touch them and look at them. "And if you are very brave you can go to the parts that you don't love and have compassion towards that" You can find Cayo's Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/jancayo.fiebig And Joachim's Twitter account is here: https://twitter.com/joachimbrackx If you enjoy this episode, please subscribe to the podcast and to our email list: http://relatingtoself.com/

Relating to Self - Troy

Relating to Self is a podcast that explores how we relate to ourselves. Joachim has conversations with interesting people to learn how they improve their relationship with themselves in order to bring positive change to their lives.   "You perceive what you are. The world appears to you through what you can experience because of how you see yourself in the world." Tells us Troy. In this episode, our guest and Joachim discuss our perception of ourselves and how it conditions us to act. "The more I reduce my own suffering, the more suffering I reduce for the people I interact with" concludes Troy, after pointing out that we let others treat us how we treat ourselves.   Troy is a dear friend and colleague of Joachim. Relating to Self - A conversation with Roel, the creator of Scenario Cards

Relating to Self is a podcast that explores how we relate to ourselves. Joachim has conversations with interesting people to learn how they improve their relationship with themselves in order to bring positive change in their lives. The relationship you have with yourself is the only relationship that you will always be in. "There's also another way of relating to myself, which is way more loving. Which is that it's okay to be mediocre. You don't have to be the best. You don't have to ruin yourself with work and with sports, and whatever competition you want to win. But it's also okay to just be who you are, and appreciate that." - Roel You can find Roel and his amazing Scenario Cards at https://www.instagram.com/scenariocards/ If you enjoyed this podcast, please subscribe and sign up for our newsletter at http://www.relatingtoself.com/ You can also follow Joachim on Twitter: @JoachimBrackx

A conversation with Haneen, who runs the Sex Homework Society

"Pleasure is our birthright"  This is only one of the many gems that Haneen expressed in our conversation. In this very first episode of this podcast, I talk to Haneen Khan. I met Haneen when I enrolled in her online course about sex, the Sex Homework Society. I felt an immediate connection with her that went beyond her work as a facilitator. She is such a warm and joyful person.  I am absolutely delighted that she was my first guest.  You can find her here: https://sexhomeworksociety.com/ If you enjoy this conversation, please subscribe to the podcast.
