Community Discussion: The TLDC State of Remote Work - Summer 2021

Remote work is the future of work. And the future is here. Unfortunately, the circumstances that prompted that future also arrived with tremendous uncertainty and caution. So what is the reality of Remote Work in our Community? We ran a fifteen question survey on Remote Work for The Training, Learning, and Development Community, seeking to find answers on how TLDC Members are functioning in this massive and disruptive workplace shift induced by the pandemic. And this episode is a Community Discussion where we talk about the results of that survey, including some of our individual experiences to each question. It was probably one of the busier chat sessions we've had this year, most likely because we've universally felt the impact of Remote Work on our jobs. It was fascinating to read the stories flying by. So links to the chat, the original crowdcast link, and the survey report are below: Chat transcript Crowdcast link: https://www.crowdcast.io/e/comdisc-remote-work Survey report: http://survey.thetldc.com/share/st/KWFyOb9Eju0=
