The number of coronavirus deaths is growing in the United States. CNN confirmed there are now more than 221,000 people that have died from the disease, on Wednesday; along with 8.3 million cases.  President Barack Obama is making the case for Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden. He spoke out for the first time since the Democratic Convention Wednesday night in Philadelphia. With just days left until the Presidential election, more than 40 million early ballots have been cast.  In the closing days of his campaign, President Donald Trump appears to lash out against several targets including Dr. Anthony Fauci. He also spoke about his response to the Covid-19 pandemic during a taped town hall with Sinclair Television. Trump said he had no regrets about how he handled the pandemic. On Wednesday, the President also threatened via Twitter to release the 60-minutes interview he ended abruptly with Leslie Stahl.  The New York Times reported Mr. Trump's tax records to show he maintains a Chinese bank account and has pursued business projects in China for years.  The US Center for Disease and Control and Prevention has updated its guidelines for close Covid-19 contact. The new definition includes cumulative exposures.  Several states are working to contain the rising Covid-19 spikes across the country. President Donald Trump is on his rally blitz as the United States sees a surge in Covid-19 cases. Trump brought his campaign to Carson City, Nevada Sunday night. New cases of coronavirus are spiking across the country. Now, the United States is averaging more than 55,000 new cases daily. Twitter removed a tweet from White House coronavirus task force member Dr. Scott Atlas that undermine mask-wearing. Atlas' tweet from Saturday read, "Masks work? NO" followed by a series of misrepresentations about the science behind the effectiveness of masks in combating the pandemic. According to Twitter, the policy Atlas violated prohibits sharing false or misleading content related to Covid-19 that could lead to harm. Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden is back on the campaign trail. He rallied voters in North Carolina Sunday where polls show a tight race. Biden's running mate, California Senator Kamala Harris will return to the campaign trail Monday. The Biden Campaign previously suspended her travel for a few days, out of an abundance of caution, after two members of her traveling team tested positive for coronavirus. President Barack Obama is also set to hit the road for Joe Biden in the final days of the election. He will hold his first in-person appearance in Philadelphia on Wednesday.
