Trump Abruptly Ends Talks with Dems on COVID-19 Relief Bill
President Donald Trump is no longer negotiating with Democrats on a COVID-19 Stimulus Bill. He made his announcement via Twitter on Tuesday.
After Trump's announcement, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested in a phone call with House Democrats that the steroids he's taking for coronavirus may be impacting his thinking. The DOW also closed sharply lower after Trump ended stimulus talks on Capitol Hill.
The coronavirus is spreading in the U.S. Government. Four Press Aides in the White House have tested positive for COVID-19. Senior Pentagon Leaders are also quarantining after a top U.S. Coast Guard official tested positive. The Pentagon released a statement Tuesday, saying in part the officials are quarantining out of an "abundance of caution."
The White House doctor, Sean Conley, says the President reported "no symptoms" on Tuesday and that his vitals were "stable." However, sources tell CNN, there are lingering concerns about Trump's health after he showed some apparent trouble breathing on his return to the White House.
Coronavirus cases are still rising in the United States. More than 210,000 people have died from the disease and there are close to 7.5 million confirmed cases.

White House Sows Confusion About Trump's Condition
The White House is sowing confusion about President Trump's condition after he tested positive for COVID-19. Trump's doctor offered an assessment of his condition Saturday, stating he had been "fever-free" for 24 hours and that his symptoms which included an "extremely mild cough, nasal congestion, and fatigue" are improving.
However, a well-placed source familiar with the President's health told CNN the next 48 hours will be "critical and that we are still not on a clear path to a full recovery."
Sources also confirmed Trump received supplemental Oxygen on Friday despite the White House's refusal to say whether he needed it. Those messages were among the latest in a string of contradictory information about the president's diagnosis and his condition since being transported to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Friday night.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says he spoke to Trump. He tweeted, the President "sounds well and says he's feeling good."
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie checked into a hospital Saturday after testing positive for COVID-19. He told CNN he's doing it as a precautionary measure. Christie helped the President with debate preparations.
