I'm talking about how to thrive in a post-cookie world and 5 strategies bloggers can use to thrive. The Dawn of a New Digital Era The online business landscape is shifting beneath our feet. With the advent of artificial intelligence (AI), updates to Google's search algorithms, and the phasing out of third-party cookies, it's clear that 2024 will be a year of significant transformation. AI is no longer the stuff of science fiction; it's a reality that's making waves in how we conduct business online. From personalized customer experiences to automated content creation, AI has the potential to revolutionize our approach to online entrepreneurship. But how can we harness this technology to our advantage? That's a question I tackled in our latest podcast episode. Google Search: Playing by New Rules Google's search algorithms are constantly changing, and staying ahead of the curve is crucial for online visibility. In 2024, we can expect even more updates that will challenge the way we think about SEO and content creation. I've shared some cutting-edge strategies to ensure your blog remains at the top of search results, no matter what Google throws our way. The Cookie Crumbles: A Post-Third-Party World The digital marketing world is bracing for the impact of third-party cookies being phased out. This change will fundamentally alter how we track user behavior and target our advertising. But it's not all doom and gloom! There are innovative approaches to user data that respect privacy while still providing valuable insights. Five Tips to Future-Proof Your Online Business In the podcast, I've outlined five essential tips to help you navigate these changes with confidence. Here's a sneak peek: Experiment and Pivot: Be willing to try new things and change direction when necessary. Flexibility is key in a rapidly evolving market. Diversify Your Traffic Sources: Don't rely on a single platform or channel for your audience. Use a mix of social media, SEO, email marketing, and other avenues to reach your customers. Build Your Personal Brand: Establish yourself as a thought leader in your niche. A strong personal brand can open doors and create opportunities. Develop and Sell Digital Products and Services: Create scalable products like courses, ebooks, or consulting services that can generate revenue without constant hands-on work. Leverage AI for New Skills: Embrace AI tools to enhance your capabilities, whether it's for content creation, data analysis, or customer service. Then see if you have AI skills that you can offer as a service to others. A Bonus Tip for the Road As a bonus, I shared an additional tip that could be the key to your success in 2024. But I won't spoil it here—you'll have to listen to the episode to find out! Conclusion: Thriving in Change Change can be daunting, but it's also ripe with opportunity. By preparing now and embracing the strategies discussed in the Blogger Genius podcast, you can set yourself up for success in 2024 and beyond. Embrace New Income Opportunities in 2024 (Rebroadcast)

As we step into 2024, the blogging landscape is undergoing significant change. With AI content creation becoming mainstream, alterations in Google search algorithms, and the phasing out of third-party cookies, bloggers are facing new challenges and opportunities. It's a crucial time for bloggers, particularly those in the food niche, to diversify their income streams. In this rebroadcast episode of The Blogger Genius Podcast, I delve into the inspiring journey of Natasha Levai, a gluten-free sourdough baker, food blogger, and creator of Natasha's Home. Natasha's story shows how embracing digital products and live workshops can be game-changing in this evolving digital era. This tool is a boon for non-tech savvy creators and is currently available at a lifetime deal of $349. Additionally, purchasing MiloTreeCart by the end of the year includes a free lifetime subscription to our MiloTree Pop-Up App, priced at $250. Natasha's Digital Product Journey Hungary-based Natasha Levai's story began with inspiration from an Eat Blog podcast episode hosted by Megan Porta. Despite time constraints, Natasha compiled her blog recipes into an ebook using Canva, keeping it simple and accessible. She priced her 16-recipe ebook at $9 and leveraged her engaged gluten-free baking Facebook group of over 22,000 members to promote it. The Power of Community and Niche Focus Natasha's niche focus on gluten-free sourdough baking has been instrumental in her rapid growth. Her community's engagement significantly boosted her ebook sales, mainly through her Facebook group. Expanding to Workshops After her ebook success, Natasha ventured into live workshops. Her first paid workshop, focusing on gluten-free baking techniques, garnered over $400. Natasha embraced the concept of "B-minus work," focusing on delivering value over perfection. This approach, using simple tools like a phone and computer, made her workshop authentic and relatable. Looking Ahead: 2024 and Beyond As we navigate 2024's dynamic blogging landscape, Natasha's approach is more relevant than ever. With traditional blogging revenue streams evolving, live workshops and digital products offer a viable path for bloggers to adapt and thrive. The Future of Blogging Natasha's experience and the growing importance of digital products and interactive experiences like live workshops underscore the need for bloggers to innovate. In 2024, with the digital landscape rapidly changing, such strategies are not just optional; they are essential for survival and growth. Tips and Tricks for Overcoming Instagram Overwhelm (Rebroadcast)

In this rebroadcast episode of The Blogger Genius Podcast, I had the pleasure of speaking with Lauren Litt, a social media coach. Lauren helps people overcome their social media anxiety and achieve real results. Lauren shares valuable insights on why some people don't like Instagram and how to overcome these concerns. She suggests getting more educated about the platform and implementing grounding habits to protect oneself from the dopamine rush. She also emphasized that follower count doesn't determine business success and that focusing on real conversations and connecting with your desired audience is key. The Importance of Being Authentic on Social Media As the host, I add that if you want to grow a business, you need to be where your audience is, even if you don't personally like the platform. I compare it to niche blogging, where some may feel confined but need to focus on a specific niche to make money. Lauren agreed, stating that running a business often involves doing things you don't want to do. She reveal that she herself doesn't like social media due to past negative experiences but helps people who feel the same way because she believes they have important messages to share. MiloTree Pop-Up App Lil Shameless Plug Join My Blogger Genius Email List Catch My Party Become a Blogger Genius Facebook Group MiloTreeCart Affiliate Program All Blogger Genius Podcast Episodes Subscribe to the Blogger Genius Podcast: iTunes Stitcher YouTube Spotify Amazon Music Experiential Marketing and Personal Connection Lauren also discusses the importance of experiential marketing and personal connection in attracting clients. She believes that people want to work with authentic individuals who show up as themselves. She also acknowledges that while there is a wealth of information available online, the value of paying for a course or coaching lies in the personal connection and trust that is established with the instructor. Tailored Approaches to Social Media When it comes to social media content, Lauren suggests focusing on the main feed, using carousels, going live, and sharing behind-the-scenes moments in stories. She explains that while reels can help grow followers, they are not as effective in driving clicks and conversions. Building Connections and Community on Social Media Lauren and I also discussed the importance of building connections and community on social media. She emphasizes that social media platforms are primarily meant for deeper engagement and relationship-building with the audience. While sales can happen on Instagram, she highlighted the value of having a newsletter list to further nurture and convert leads. Using Social Media to Drive Sales Lauren shares her own experience of working with clients who were not equipped to effectively capture leads and convert them into sales. This led her to expand her company and focus on online marketing strategies that move people from social media platforms to email newsletters, where the real profit can be generated. The Power of Engagement Lauren also provided a three-step process for daily engagement on social media: review, respond, and reach out. She encourages entrepreneurs to take just five minutes a day to review their social media accounts, respond to comments and likes, and reach out to new circles of potential customers. Taking Action and Making Personal Connections I admire Lauren for her practical strategies for selling digital products. I believe in the importance of taking action, even if you don't have an existing audience. I suggest going door to door, joining Facebook groups, and engaging on Instagram to make personal connections that can turn into loyal fans and customers. I advise them to start small and focus on getting customers before investing in complicated technology or optimizing content. It's crucial to prove the concept and generate revenue before expanding and optimizing. Tracking Time and Diversifying Income Faith added that tracking time and identifying revenue-generating activities are crucial. She advises bloggers to find their leverage points and focus on activities that directly contribute to making money. She also suggests diversifying income streams to avoid relying solely on platforms like Google or social media algorithms. The Value of Simplicity and Focus Both Faith and I stress the importance of staying focused and not getting overwhelmed by trying to do too much too soon. We recommend simplicity, a simple offer, and a simple way of selling it. Faith highlights the need for a standout offer and advises against spreading oneself too thin with multiple offers. The Power of Your Brain and Multiple Leads Faith also discussed the importance of having multiple leads and the value of your brain as an entrepreneur. She emphasizes that all money is created from ideas generated by your brain, making it your most valuable asset. When coaching people, Faith encourages them to think in terms of leads, which can be potential customers or visitors to their blog generating ad revenue. The Role of Short-Form Video Content Currently, Faith sees short-form video content platforms like Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest as effective sources for generating leads. She shared an example of someone in her mastermind who went viral on Reels and gained 5,000 email subscribers in just two weeks. Rising Above the Noise Faith discusses rising above the noise and gaining engagement on social media. She acknowledges that it takes time and perseverance, referring to the initial stage as "the suck" where you may feel like you're talking to no one. However, she emphasizes the importance of maintaining consistency. The Challenges and Realities of Building a Career Online Faith also discusses the challenges and realities of building a career online. She emphasizes the importance of trying new things and being willing to make mistakes in front of others. She shares her own experience of organizing her first online summit, which had its fair share of technical issues and frustrations. However, she believes that being a beginner and facing difficulties is a natural part of the process. The Value of Condensing Information and Expertise Faith discusses the value of condensing information and expertise into a faster and more accessible format for people. She emphasizes the importance of not having to spend excessive time and effort on researching and reading books, as she has already done that for her students. Delivering High-Value Results Faith encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to focus on delivering high-value results that people are willing to pay for. She advises individuals to analyze their chosen niche or industry and identify what people are already paying a lot of money for, and then strive to become exceptionally good at delivering those results. Conclusion Faith and I emphasize the importance of simplicity, focus, and diversification in building sustainable businesses. Mastering the Art of Messaging to Unlock Blog Growth in 2024

Hello everyone, I'm your host, Jillian, and today I interviewing copywriter, Samantha Burmeister. We're talking about the importance of effective messaging to set yourself apart from the competition as a blogger in 2024. The Potential of Digital Products and Services In the podcast, I also introduce the concept of pivoting to selling digital products and services as a way to boost your blog income. One tool that I highly recommend for this is the MiloTreeCart. This user-friendly tool allows you to set up memberships, digital downloads, workshops, coaching, and mini-courses with ease. What's more, MiloTreeCart is currently available for a one-time lifetime deal of $349 for the first thousand VIP customers, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. MiloTree Pop-Up App Samantha Burmeister Join My Blogger Genius Email List Catch My Party Become a Blogger Genius Facebook Group MiloTreeCart Affiliate Program All Blogger Genius Podcast Episodes Subscribe to the Blogger Genius Podcast: iTunes Stitcher YouTube Spotify The Importance of Messaging The main topic of the episode is messaging. Samantha and I discuss the importance of getting visitors and customers to understand the "why" behind the content. This "why" can drive actions such as joining an email list, taking action on blog posts, and making purchases on sales pages. We also touched on the role of AI in copywriting and the significance of brevity, authority, and selling the transformation. Samantha explains the difference between content and copywriting, stating that content is written for computers and focuses on discovery, while copywriting is about understanding the audience's needs and desires and crafting compelling messaging to inspire action. The Power of Offering Value Samantha stresses the importance of offering valuable content to capture email addresses and generate leads. She emphasized the need to provide immediate value and ensure that the freebie or content offered aligns with the paid products or services being promoted in the future. She also addressed the hesitation some people, especially women, feel when it comes to selling and promoting their offerings. Samantha encourages them to overcome this mindset and view selling as a way to serve and help others. The Role of Emotions in Purchasing Decisions We discussed the role of emotions in purchasing decisions. Samantha confirmed that people often buy based on emotions and then justify their purchase afterwards. I shared an example of buying a purse because it sparked my interest, even though I later justified it by saying I needed it for a wedding or a job interview. The Use of AI in Copywriting We also discussed the differences between using AI for content and AI for copy. When using AI for content, it can aggregate information from the internet to answer specific questions or provide recommendations. However, when it comes to copywriting, it's important to understand the desired transformation or outcome that the audience wants. I shared my approach to using AI for copywriting. I prompt my AI, ChatGPT, to be a world-class copywriter who understands human psychology. By setting up the AI with this prompt, I can then ask it to generate sales copy that will lead to the desired transformation for my target audience. Brevity and Authority in Sales Pages Samantha discussed the importance of brevity and authority in sales pages. She advises against using blocks of text, except for the about section, as people are usually more interested in knowing what they will get from the sales page. However, she acknowledges that the about section can help build authority and humanize the product being sold. I agree with Samantha's points and suggest that imposter syndrome can be overcome by putting yourself out there confidently. I emphasize the need to establish trust and authority in the sales pitch, even if you don't have formal qualifications in the field. Conclusion To sum up, the key takeaways from the episode are the need to communicate authority, establish a personal connection, and guide customers on a transformative journey. If you want to learn more about Samantha and her services, she can be found at Nomad Copy Agency and on Instagram at nomad.copy. The Future of Blogging: SEO Predictions for 2024 with Casey Markee

I'm Jillian, your host, and today I'm excited to share with you an insightful conversation I had with SEO expert, Casey Markee. We delved into the recent Google updates, their impact on bloggers, how AI is changing blogging and what the future might look like as 3rd-party cookies get phased out, and how to position yourself for success in 2024. The Future of Blogging: AI and the Potential Decline of Ad Revenue As we approach 2024, I posed a question to our audience: How do you plan to grow your income considering the competition from AI content and the potential decline in ad revenue due to the phase-out of third-party cookies? I suggested that bloggers pivot by selling their own digital products and services to their audience. A tool I recommend is MiloTreeCart, which allows users to set up memberships, digital downloads, workshops, coaching, and mini-courses in less than ten minutes. It's user-friendly and offers real people to provide assistance. For the first thousand VIP customers, there's a one-time lifetime deal of $349 with no recurring fees, and a 30-day money-back guarantee is offered. MiloTree Pop-Up App Casey Markee MediaWyse Join My Blogger Genius Email List Catch My Party Become a Blogger Genius Facebook Group MiloTreeCart Affiliate Program All Blogger Genius Podcast Episodes Subscribe to the Blogger Genius Podcast: iTunes Stitcher YouTube Spotify The Emotional Journey of Bloggers Post-Google Updates Casey Markee shares the emotional journey that bloggers have gone through after being hit by Google updates. Many bloggers initially go through a stage of bargaining, hoping that the changes they made will improve their rankings. However, when they see that the updates didn't have the desired impact, they move into a stage of depression. They realize that they won't be able to achieve the same level of success as before. Eventually, they reach the acceptance stage, understanding that SEO is a long-term process and they need to make the necessary changes to recover. Misconceptions about Google Updates and Content Structure Casey clarified that FAQs and specific information are still relevant, but bloggers need to avoid overloading their posts with unnecessary content. He emphasized the importance of being useful and avoiding superfluous information. He advised bloggers to optimize their posts for different audiences by providing a clear answer at the top of the post and offering additional information for those who want more details. The Role of AI in Content Creation We discussed the evolving landscape of content creation and the potential impact of AI technology. We acknowledged the convenience and efficiency that AI brings to our lives but also expressed concerns about its potential to replace human creators. Casey emphasized that AI should be used as an efficiency boost and a way to fine-tune existing skills rather than relying solely on AI-generated content. He believes that bloggers can benefit from using AI tools to save time and focus on other aspects of their work. The Impact of Recent Google Updates on Bloggers Casey predictes that there may be another update in the near future, considering the significant changes seen in October. He mentions that platforms like Quora and Reddit have gained prominence in search results due to their user-generated content. However, he highlighted the challenge of determining the credibility and expertise of the contributors on these platforms. The Importance of Focusing on What Bloggers Can Control Casey emphasizes the importance of focusing on what bloggers can control, such as their own content. He advises bloggers to ensure their content is updated, useful, and concise. He also recommended interlinking new posts with related older posts to create a strong internal network. The Future of AI and Blogging Casey predicts that artificial intelligence (AI) will continue to grow, and bloggers who have been slow to embrace it will join the bandwagon in 2024. He believes that high school kids will increasingly help their parents run their businesses, and the loss of third-party cookie data in 2024 could have a negative effect on income. To compensate for this loss, bloggers will need to gather first-party data through email subscribers, site behavioral data studies, and loyalty programs. The Significance of Third-Party Cookies and Their Impact on Blogging We discussed the significance of third-party cookies and how they track users' online activities. Casey mentioned that ad companies like Raviv and Mediavine have their own solutions to replace the lost cookie information. He advised bloggers to invest in their email efforts to track and engage their audience. The Dominance of Google in the Search Engine Market Casey discussed the dominance of Google in the search engine market and predicted that its traffic percentage will continue to rise. He believes that third-party search engines, no matter how much money they invest, cannot compete with Google's market share. The Importance of Being Human and Creating a Community We concluded by acknowledging the fast-paced changes in the industry and the need for bloggers to find new ways to engage their audience. Casey emphasized the importance of being human and creating a community around the blog. He advised bloggers to focus on providing helpful content that meets the needs of users rather than just targeting keywords. In this ever-evolving digital landscape, it's crucial for us, as bloggers, to stay informed, adapt, and continue to provide valuable content to our audience. Gratitude Unleashed: A Quick, Calming Meditation for Thanksgiving

In today's podcast, I decided to record a new guided meditation for Thanksgiving. As the world feels like it's spinning faster and faster, I see the need in my own life to appreciate the small pleasures, reflect on my own blessings, and extend gratitude towards myself and others. I hope this meditation helps you do the same. I've posted the transcript below if you want to read it. Meditation Transcript Jillian Leslie (00:00:11) - Hello my friends, it is Jillian. For the past few years, during Thanksgiving week, I've been sharing a guided meditation on gratitude, and I thought this year it was even more important to do than in the past. Because this year, at least for me, things feel like they're spinning faster than ever. And sometimes I find it harder to make sense of the world. In fact, I've noticed my everyday stress feels a little more pointed, like I want to control things, and when I can't, I feel more disoriented. So I wanted to do this meditation to help myself. And hopefully you slow down a little bit so we can find our footing and focus on the small things that give us meaning, and usually the small stuff right in front of us that does this. Like the feeling of warmth on our skin or the scent of fresh flowers. A cup of hot coffee. That one definitely does it for me, or the smile of someone we love. Jillian Leslie (00:01:22) - And these simple pleasures are like rays of light in our lives, especially when things around us seem overwhelming. And I know I tend to sometimes miss them because they speak in a quieter voice. So with that being said, I wanted to help make space for that quieter voice. I'd love you to find a comfortable space to sit down and close your eyes. Or if you're walking, just listen a little more closely to my voice. And let's begin by focusing on our breath. So inhale deeply. Feel the air in your lungs and exhale slowly. So let's scan our bodies because they're usually some extra places where we hold tension. When I mention a place, see if you can relax it just a little bit more. So let's first focus on our eye sockets. Can you feel them relax just by focusing on them? And now let's move down to our jaws. We tend to hold a lot of tension in our jaws. Oh. Feel it. Relax as well. And now let's move down to our throats. Jillian Leslie (00:02:56) - And to our shoulders. And to our solar plexus, which is that spot right under your ribs. Like if you got punched in the stomach, that's where your solar plexus are. And just put a little softness there. Let's move down to our bellies. We tend to hold a lot of tension in our bellies. Let's move down to our hips. To our thighs. And to our calves. Focus on your feet. Feel the energy coming in through the top of your head and leave through the bottom of your feet. Feel yourself grounded to the earth. As we start to talk about gratitude, I want to invite you to open yourself up to receive guidance. Wisdom. Almost like you're an empty vessel. And let's start with the breath again. So breathe in. Breathe out. Please repeat these words in your head and see what shows up. Ready? I am grateful for. What materialized? What popped into your mind? Give it a second. Visualize it. Is it a certain person, a pet, a thing, an event? Experience? Maybe a circumstance? Who? Or whatever it is. Jillian Leslie (00:05:04) - Welcome them into your heart. Surround it or them with love. And give thanks for playing such an important role in your life. Then invite it or them to your Thanksgiving table. So let's do it again. Please repeat the words I am grateful for in your head. See what materializes. Was it another person, another pet or experience? Whatever it was? Welcome this person or thing into your heart. And invite it or them to also take a seat at your Thanksgiving table. And let's do it one more time. Please repeat these words. I am grateful for. And whatever pops into your mind, hold it and then put it in your heart. And invite them or it to also join you at your table. Think of a challenge in your life that you've overcome. Could be an illness, a circumstance, a relationship. Notice your bravery for getting to the other side and welcome that challenge into your heart. Thank the challenge. Thank your strength. This has helped transform you. Helped you evolve. So invite this experience to your table. Jillian Leslie (00:06:48) - Think of someone in your life who could use a little grace, a touch of kindness, a little bit of love and warmth right now. Who in your life is struggling and in your mind? Hold them tight. Send lots of love their way and invite them to your table. Are there other people who might need that little touch of grace? If so. Invite each one to your table and surround them with love. And now, as our final act of gratitude, please welcome yourself into your heart with all your strengths and all your weaknesses, your fears, your desires, your foibles, your best qualities, your worst qualities, the whole package of who you are without any judgment. Thank yourself for being uniquely you, for being on this path. Remember, nobody else is like you and thank yourself for hanging in there, even in the tough times. Thank yourself for showing up in whatever way you've been able to place your hand on your heart. Feel the life force inside you as you breathe in and out and in. And out. Jillian Leslie (00:08:34) - Feel how alive you are in this mysterious moment. Sit yourself at the head of your Thanksgiving table. Look around at all that you are grateful for and those that you love. And please take this in. So let's breathe together. Let's breathe in and out. Notice the abundance of people, experiences, challenges and notice the feeling of love. We all know life isn't always easy or fair. A lot of times it's messy and doesn't make any sense. And our job is to keep showing up through it all with grace, forgiveness, and compassion. For that, let's give thanks and let's celebrate this deep and beautiful mystery. We call life. When you're ready, wiggle your fingers and toes. Feel yourself coming back into your body. And when it feels comfortable. Open your eyes and notice the subtle shift that has taken place. I want to wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope it is filled with joy and lightness and love, and that you get to notice those special little moments that are right there in front of all of us, and that make life so beautiful. Jillian Leslie (00:10:18) - If you have a friend or a relative who you think could benefit from listening to this, please share it! And I will see you here again next week. How to Turn a Last-Minute Black Friday Sale into a Massive Win

In today's episode, I'm sharing how I stumbled into success offering a Black Friday sale and made $5k in 4 days and you can too! My On-The Fly Black Friday Sale That Paid Off Big-Time It all began when we decided to take a break from our usual Thanksgiving spent with family and instead headed to Las Vegas. Little did I know that this trip would turn out to be a turning point in my entrepreneurial journey. I woke up the day before Thanksgiving and started scrolling on my phone. I saw all these incredible Black Friday deals and discounts. I started to wonder if there was a way I could tap into this Black Friday craze and boost my own business. As a blogger and entrepreneur, I was always on the lookout for innovative ways to sell my products and services. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to do just that. My Black Friday Offer I decided to lean into the excitement of entrepreneurs growing their businesses in the New Year and offered a one-hour coaching session where I would also email them 5 action steps they could use in their business. I decided to charge $250 per session, a discount from my current $350 per hour coaching rate. I slapped together a landing page and buy button and started sending emails. Each day I'd send a new email that I wrote on the fly, and each day I got sales. I ended up making over $5k in just 4 days. This paid for our Vegas trip and all our Christmas presents that year. What surprised me most was how there was an income stream I didn't know was there. And all I had to do was tap into it. This unexpected success taught me a valuable lesson about the power of seizing opportunities and thinking outside the box. It showed me that sometimes, the most significant breakthroughs can come when we least expect them. Show Notes: MiloTreeCart Personality Quiz: What Digital Product Should I Create? Focusing on What We Can Control In the ever-changing landscape of online advertising, it's important to focus on what we can control. We cannot control the fate of third-party cookies or the advancements in artificial intelligence that may impact ad revenue. However, we can control how we show up as a real person with real solutions. This is the key to staying competitive. Scaling Your Business: From Overwhelm to Six-Figure Success

In today's episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing AnneMarie Rose, a business coach for online entrepreneurs. AnneMarie specializes in helping women entrepreneurs scale their businesses to six figures. Before we get started, if you are ready to start selling digital products, we are going to be running an unbelievable Black Friday Special for MiloTreeCart. Click here to get on the waitlist so you are the first to find out about it. The Importance of Vision in Business Growth During our conversation, AnneMarie emphasizes the importance of starting with a vision when growing a company. She acknowledges that some listeners may feel that having a vision is a luxury for successful people, but she emphasizes that having a clear vision is essential for determining the best strategies for revenue generation. To help listeners develop their vision, AnneMarie provides a practical exercise prompting them to reflect on what aspects of their business they enjoy the most and what drains them. She also encourages them to imagine their business 12 to 18 months in the future, offering only two things. This exercise helps narrow their focus and provides clues on how to make money. She suggests developing a clear outline of what will be included in their offerings and how they plan to deliver them. It's important to understand the problem their target market is experiencing and how they describe it to themselves. By having conversations and asking questions, they can find potential clients to talk to. Building an Audience and Crafting Your Offer AnneMarie discusses the importance of choosing an audience that you have a direct connection with when starting a business. She suggests that it is most effective to serve an audience that includes people you already know, such as friends or past colleagues. This is especially relevant if you are offering services related to a specific industry, like corporate America. She explaines that building an audience from scratch can be a lengthy process, taking at least three years to start generating significant revenue. However, she emphasizes that you don't have to start with a large audience. Even with a small following, you can still find clients who have some connection to you, whether through social media or other channels. Conducting Survey Calls and Turning Them into Sales Opportunities AnneMarie provides advice on conducting survey calls and turning them into sales opportunities. She suggestes starting the conversation by asking the interviewee to imagine a perfect world scenario where the problem they are facing is completely solved. This allows them to envision their ideal solution. The Power of Authenticity and Transparency in Selling AnneMarie discusses the importance of being transparent and authentic when selling your offer for the first time. She suggestes acknowledging that you are new to the business side of things and may make mistakes, but you are committed to helping your clients through any challenges. This vulnerability can make you more relatable and likable to potential customers. Using Quizzes as a Tool for Growing Email Lists AnneMarie explaines that quizzes are interactive and provide a more engaging experience compared to simple downloads. She recommends using quizzes as a way to guide people to gain clarity. Making Business Strategies Fun and Engaging We discuss the importance of making business strategies fun and engaging for customers. AnneMarie introduces the idea of using quizzes as a lead generation tool. I mention the digital product personality quiz I created that helps determine the best digital product for individuals based on their preferences and personality styles. Conclusion Remember, you are at the center of your business. Keep practicing, keep learning, and keep growing. And don't forget to sign up to be notified about our upcoming Black Friday Special for MiloTreeCart. Happy scaling!
