#073 - Haley Roberts

Haley Roberts is an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Sam Houston State University where she works with the Bearkats softball, women’s basketball, soccer, tennis, and bowling teams in addition to assisting with football. She also is also responsible for their internship recruitment, program, and development. She came to SHSU in 2021 after previously serving as a graduate assistant strength coach at the University of North Alabama. Prior to that she served as the lead intern with the football strength staff at UNLV from 2019-2020 as well as served as a virtual intern with Clemson basketball.  Roberts competed in multiple sports growing up before finding strength sports. #072 - Jake Pudenz

Jake Pudenz is the Owner and Head Coach of Jake Pudenz Strength & Power. Primarily located in Des Moines, Iowa, Pudenz works with all types of strength athletes both in person as well as remotely. Prior to starting his own business in 2020, he was the head strength & conditioning coach for the Denison Community School District from 2011-2020 which consisted of working with ten different varsity/JV high school teams, several out-of-season programs, and non-athletes in the area. Pudenz got his start coaching as an intern at Got Strength Gym in Iowa City where he worked and trained for three years until interning at Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning in the summer of 2011.Pudenz is an avid strength athlete and has train and competed in multiple team, combat, and strength sports throughout his career. Following high school football and wrestling he began training in MMA from 2006-2009 taking on multiple amateur and then professional fights. He soon after shifted to strongman where he competed in various competitions before picking up competitive weightlifting in 2011. He was a full-time weightlifter and member of the California Strength National Team from 2012-2019 amassing multiple top 5 national finishes including being the 2019 109kg National Champion, as well as finishing 2nd and 3rd at the American Open in 2019 and 2018 respectively. #071 - Cam Davidson

Cam Davidson is the Director of Strength & Conditioning at Colorado College. Most recently, Davidson came to CC from Penn State University where he was the assistant director of performance enhancement overseeing the men’s ice hockey, women’s volleyball, and track & field programs. Prior to joining Penn State, Davidson was the director of strength and conditioning at the College of Charleston from 2007-2009 where he oversaw all 19 intercollegiate teams. He began his coaching career as an undergraduate intern at his alma mater, the University of Wyoming. After graduating he stepped into a graduate assistant coaching position at Marshall University from 2005-2006 before joining Clemson University as an assistant basketball strength coach for one year. A former college wrestler at the University of Wyoming, Davidson has since then been competing in Olympic weightlifting. #069 - Sean Doherty

Sean Doherty is an Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Villanova University where he oversees the training for the men’s lacrosse, volleyball, men’s and women’s tennis programs. Prior to arriving at Villanova he spent a brief stint as an assistant coach at Loyola University Maryland, following serving as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Montana from 2016-2018. #068 - Monte Sparkman

Monte Sparkman is the Head Athlete Performance Coach at Azle High School in Azle, Texas. Prior to arriving at Azle, he served multiple roles for over a decade at Richland High School as an athlete performance coach, special education teacher, assistant football coach, and head track and field coach. Sparkman also served as a physical education instructor and head powerlifting coach at the Virginia Military Institute from 2007-2010, volunteer assistant powerlifting coach and physical education teacher at Burkburnett High School in Texas for one year, after starting his professional career as an assistant director of recreational sports and wellness at Midwestern State University. Additionally he was an intern performance coach for football at North Texas under Frank Wintrich.  Sparkman has been giving back to the profession since his inception, speaking at numerous coaching clinics and his articles have been featured on EliteFTS and Simplifaster. Sparkman is no stranger to training in addition to his extensive experience in coaching and athletics. A former 3-year letter winner in football at Baker University, he has been competing in powerlifting since 2003. #067 - Steve Georgio

Steve Georgio is an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Fordham University where he oversees the training for the men’s basketball, men’s soccer, men’s and women’s tennis, and women’s volleyball programs in addition to assisting with football. He assumed his new position with the Rams after working as a volunteer coach in the summer of 2019 and most recently serving in a similar assistant coach capacity at Iona College for one year. While at Iona, Georgio was also an adjunct professor teaching exercise science classes in the undergrad program. He has also spent time as a strength coach at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning in addition to being a volunteer coach at The Citadel for the 2016 summer. Georgio continues to train as a coach. #066 - Mark Ellis

Mark Ellis is an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Princeton University where he oversees the Tigers’ men’s lacrosse, men’s soccer, men’s swimming, men’s and women’s diving, and women’s tennis programs. Before arriving at Princeton in 2021, Ellis was an assistant athletic performance coach at Stony Brook University. He began his coaching career as volunteer strength coach at Hofstra University. In addition to his collegiate experience, he has worked as a strength coach at Professional Physical Therapy as well as head lacrosse coach for Garden City Middle School, both in New York.A former college lacrosse player, Ellis started his career as a defensive midfielder at Stony Brook University, however after his initial two first seasons then redshirting one year and being sidelined due to injury the following season he transferred to finish his final two years of eligibility at Hofstra University while completing his graduate studies. He went on to become team captain of the Pride in his final season before being selected in the 2019 MLL Rookie Selection Draft by the New York Lizards where he played for the subsequent 2019 and 2020 seasons. #065 - Sean Fantuzzi

Sean Fantuzzi is a Strength Coach at Life Time Athletic in King of Prussia, PA. Prior to coaching in the private sector, Fantuzzi spent the majority of his coaching career in the collegiate realm with his most recent stop as an assistant coach at the University of North Dakota from 2016-2019. He came to North Dakota after a two year stint as an assistant coach at Loyola University (MD). Fantuzzi started his coaching career at his alma matter, interning within the Penn State strength & conditioning department from 2011-2013. From there he went on to serve as a graduate assistant strength coach at Saint Francis University (PA) before returning to Penn State briefly as a volunteer coach. Sean is very active as a coach and strength athlete himself. #064 - Andrew Wentz

Andrew Wentz is an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at High Point University where he oversees the training for the men’s lacrosse, volleyball, and women’s soccer teams. He arrived at High Point in late 2021 by way of nearby Wake Forest University where he was an intern coach. Wentz began his coaching career personal training in 2016 and served in similar internship positions at both UNC Greensboro and Southern University, while personal training. He is a powerlifting coach and has been working with clients in person as well as online for the past two years. Wentz is a former collegiate hammer thrower for Eastern Michigan University’s Track & Field program. He competed in both indoor and outdoor with personal bests of 18.18 meters/ 59’ 7” in the weight throw and 54.43m/178-07 in the hammer throw.
