TPS 152: Sistermixin’
This week Brett interviews sisters Jo and Tracey from Sistermixin’. Jo realised early on that her young daughter ‘just wasn’t like other three year olds’ and decided to do something about it. Her daughter was throwing epic tantrums, scratching, biting and given her experience in early childhood she knew that it was more than the norm. So she decided to do something about it. On the advice of a friend she started researching chemicals and additives in foods and upon removing them noticed enormous changes. Having seen first hand the change in her daughter she decided to share her new found knowledge on Facebook and Sistermixin’, an online community with over 25 thousand followers was born. Her sister Tracey saw similar changes with her family when she followed Jo’s lead and soon joined her spreading a fantastic message about just what goes into our foods that we have the pleasure of sharing with you in today’s episode.
