In June of 2019, Sam was suddenly incapacitated by a mysterious illness that kept her bedridden for 17 months. Scary, right? But here’s the good news. 97. 3 Things before you scale your sales

Recently I hosted a Weekend Retreat for some of our higher volume Members. We spent some time talking about scaling our sales and talked about some of the best ways to scale your sales and grow your profit at the same time. It’s exciting to think about what's possible, and actually see a clear path to reach our goals, but before you dive in and think about scaling your sales, there are 3 things you should do to make sure your explosive growth doesn’t turn into a dumpster fire. I’ve been able to scale my own store’s sales profitable, and in the last few years, I’ve watched several of our clients grow their sales to 7 figures and beyond. Here’s what happens first: They set up a marketing plan for Reliable Revenue using automations, and Predictable Revenue by creating marketing events they can repeat. They get their financial house in order. They know their numbers, they’re profitable, and they pay themselves, even if it’s not as much as they’d like. And lastly, They make room to grow by outsourcing some of the work they do, even though they might not feel ready. I see far too many eCommerce store owners spending hours every week on social media posts and ads. Often they are frustrated, worn down, and wondering if there’s a better way to get the traffic they need. The short answer is that Social Media is still a very good platform for building a big warm audience of people who will become buyers, and it’s an affordable source of high quality traffic. That said, I think this is the year we stop investing tons of time and emotional energy into the platform and start using it as one of the tools we use to grow our business. Like an app or marketplace, we can decide how we’ll use it and set a “time and money” budget that we maintain consistently through the year. Listen in and hear the 4 simple steps I recommend store owners use consistently, and how you can spend a daily budget of $10 a day in a way that will grow your warm audiences significantly and get more traffic to your site for less money. Implement consistently and in a few months, you’ll have a big warm audience of people who are visiting your site, signing up for your email list, and buying your products. Here are the 4 parts of your plan: 1. Connection. Attract your perfect audience by posting images and videos that include you, a team member, your products, and a peek behind the scenes of your business.
