From no chance to NFL, how MPM helped the LA Rams Justin Lawler on and off the field

Justin Lawler has achieved success at every level of football, including the NFL, where he plays outside linebacker and special teams for the Los Angeles Rams. But, before the NFL, he was a breakout star at Texas’ Pottsboro High School where he was also a power-lifter in addition to playing football. He went on to become a first-team all-conference player at SMU, where in his senior year alone, he recorded 74 tackles and 9 and a half sacks.  In this podcast he talks about how he utilizes the 10 pillars of mental performance mastery as a football player on and off the field to give him the best chance for success.

The Humble Stardom of Baseball’s Bobby Witt Jr.

Bobby Witt Jr. is one of the most exciting young athletes in the country, and was recently the No. 2 overall pick in the MLB draft by the Kansas City Royals organization.  As a high school star in Texas, Bobby was named the Gatorade National High School Athlete of the Year, he helped Team USA take home the gold medal at the COPABE Pan-American Championships, he won the High School Home Run Derby at Nationals Park and was named MVP at the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game at Wrigley Field. But, despite the accolades, if there’s one thing people know about Bobby, it’s not just his skill on the field--it’s humility and his team-first approach to the game.

Hockey Trailblazer Lyndsey Fry

Lyndsey Fry is only 27 years old, but she’s already accomplished more than many people attempt in a lifetime. She played Division 1 hockey at Harvard and holds an MBA from Arizona State University. She also won a silver medal as a member of the Team USA winter Olympics in 2014. After college she launched her own business—Lyndsey Fry Hockey—where she trains the next generation of women’s hockey players at camps around the country.  An advocate for women and girls hockey the Hockey Ambassador and Advisor to the President/CEO for the Arizona Coyotes, a member of the NHL’s first Female Hockey Advisory Committee and was a part of a team that brought the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association to Arizona. Softball Star Taylor Dockins’ Inspiration Journey

Taylor Dockins is one of the most inspiring people you will likely ever encounter. During high school, she was one of the most dominate athletes in the country, winning the Gatorade National Player of the Year Award. Today, she is a star for the Cal State Fullerton team. All of this is impressive, but it’s even more inspiring when you learn that since high school, Taylor has been battling a rare form of cancer, and she regularly undergoes chemotherapy treatments while also balancing life as an elite student athlete. But, perhaps the most inspiring thing about Taylor isn’t what she’s accomplished on the field or even in her personal life—it’s the positive spirit she brings to everything she does.
