Mini-Episode: How To Ask For What You Need
I talk a little bit about what blocks a man from getting his needs met. So many men are not taught to ask for what they want.
I also pull from Dr. Robert Glover’s book No More Mr. Nice Guy and dives into covert contracts. If you don’t know what a covert contract is or how it can affect your life you’re going to want to tune into this one.

Mini-Episode: What Women Desire From Men Before Sex
This week I talk about what women desire from a man in intimacy. I often get this question from men, “what do women actually desire”. It’s often framed from the perspective of, I’d like to have more sex with my partner and I’m not sure how to engage them.
I give you one specific practice for men. Men, this episode is mostly for you. Women, listen along.

Mini-Episode: Overcoming Laziness By Leveraging Surrendering
Laziness is something we all deal with. It’s the thing holding us back from better routines, sleep, sex, and so much more. But what do we do with laziness? How do we face it? We surrender. This doesn't mean that we let laziness take hold (although that may be what we are already doing).
This episode takes a deep dive into overcoming laziness and takes a non-traditional approach that steers clear of the “just get off your ass and do it” personal development mantra.

Michael Gay - What Is Mens Work?
Michael is a therapist in private practice in Boulder, Colorado. He earned his M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University with a focus in Transpersonal Psychology. He was a Wilderness Therapy guide for 6 years, leading and facilitating in deep transformational work with teens, adults, and families in the mountains and high desert. He has also worked extensively in the field of addiction and recovery. He is currently involved with a rapidly growing men’s organization called Sacred Sons, working to bring men together for transformational experiences, brotherhood, healing, and empowerment.
As a therapist and men’s work facilitator, Michael uses experiential and body based approaches to support healing and transformation because they mobilize emotional content in ways intellectual approaches can’t. He believes many men experience stuckness because they try to think their way through things that must be experienced. In his words, “plenty of men know every little detail of their cage, awareness isn’t necessarily what opens the door.”

Mini-Episode: Leveraging Denial
When we let it, denial can be an incredible access point for growth.
This episode takes a look at how you can look at denial not as something that takes us further away from our truth, but rather as something that can bring us close to our own sense of wholeness.
