138 - Q & A - Selling Yourself and Getting Back Into Real Estate
In this real estate agent training podcast, we have two fantastic questions coming your way. They are similar in that they focus on either beginning in real estate or trying to reignite your career, but they are quite unique. Question 1: Hey I’m a new agent about to start my career! I’m very disciplined so I don’t think scheduling and doing the “dirty” work (ie. cold calls) and prospecting will be an issue. However, do you have any tips to improve on sales skills/selling yourself? I feel like this will be my biggest learning curve. Thanks! Question 2: I received my license in 2017, and did great my first couple years as a part time agent. I had some really good transactions in the buyers market for luxury properties. In 2019 I became pregnant with my third baby and gave birth in January 2020. . I slowly stopped working in real estate during the end of 2019 due to the holidays, and I had big close at the end of November so I decided to take it easy. Then covid happened in March of 2020 and all hell broke loose with all three of my kids at home including a newborn. Now we are in October and I am trying to get back in Real Estate and I am finding it very difficult to get back on track.. Luckily my kids are back to school, and I am finding help with my youngest so I am ready to work and get back to business. My question is for someone who has been MIA and wants to come back during this time, what can I do to get myself back out there during COVID times. I can't do open houses, I do not door knock, and I barely see people anymore , since there are no networking or functions going on. What do you suggest and the steps to take. I feel like a completely new agent. Help! Thank you ! You can ask a question anytime by going to revrealestateschool.com/q-and-a Episode mentioned: Episode 135 - 3 Ways To Connect During COVID
