How to hear your intuition
Today's episode is an IGTV from my Q&A Tuesday show. The question was:"How do I tune into my intuition? I feel like I'm blocked. I feel like I don't get messages. How do I know if I'm have intuition or not and why do I feel like it's not coming through for me?" We often hear the word "download" used when people are talking about listening to their intuition, and that might not be a word that resonates with you. Maybe you think that because you're not getting "downloads" that you don't have intuition. That's not the case. Everyone has intuition. Your intuition is basically just your feelings. If you're really listening to how you're feeling, how your body is reacting to a situation, or a thought - that's all it is. Just being more aware of your body and your mind is all it is. This is why you don’t have what you want
My love, I want you to really listen to me here. If you're wondering why you're not getting what you want, most of the time the answer is simple. You're not doing the work. I've said it before and I'll say it again and again, but if you aren't willing to go into the depths of yourself and really look at who you are - the shadow self, the mean girl that lives inside of you, then you'll never be able to get the results you desire.I know that if you listened to what I'm saying and did the work, you would start to feel better, you would change your attitude, you would change your mind. It won't happen immediately, it's going to take some time, but it will happen. Get a piece of paper, a piece of toilet paper, a Kmart receipt - whatever it is that you can write on and start to write down those thoughts that are in your head. Have a look at them and you will start to recognise the patterns that are stopping you. You can be your worst enemy or your best friend, all the work starts with you.Connect with Erika:Instagram: @thequeenofconfidenceFacebook: @TheconfidencequeenYouTube: The Confidence Chronicles and The Queen Of ConfidenceLinkedIn: https://au.linkedin.com/in/erika-cramer-ab695571Sistahood Program: https://thequeenofconfidence.com/sistahood/Website: www.thequeenofconfidence.comWAYS TO WORK WITH ME:Join my online coaching program for women - the Sistahood Learn how to Conquer Social Media through my new Confidently Conquering Social Media Course👑 Want to request a podcast? Why I’m no longer doing things I suck at
As you may know, I'm writing a book about confidence. It's something that I have wanted to do for awhile and y'all know I've got a lot to say on the topic. So I've been trying to figure out how to actually write this thing. I googled it, I got transcripts from my podcast episodes, I wrote things out on sticky notes, I was doing my head in over it. I felt stressed and I wasn't getting anywhere. So I started thinking about something that I learned from Dean Graziosi when he said that he doesn't focus on his weaknesses, he only focuses on his strengths. Why was I trying to write a book? I'm not a writer. I'm a speaker. I will talk at your face all day long, but make me write and I'm lost for words. I've created the resources that have allowed me to now outsource my book writing to a wonderful ghost writer which can leave me to continue doing the things that I know I'm great at.This is not permission for you to procrastinate and not do things because you say you're not good at them, but it's an invitation to think about what you can outsource and if you can't afford to do that right now, who can you turn to for help, or how can you work towards making enough money that you can one day outsource those things that you suck at.Connect with Erika:Instagram: @thequeenofconfidenceFacebook: @TheconfidencequeenYouTube: The Confidence Chronicles and The Queen Of ConfidenceLinkedIn: https://au.linkedin.com/in/erika-cramer-ab695571Sistahood Program: https://thequeenofconfidence.com/sistahood/Website: www.thequeenofconfidence.comWAYS TO WORK WITH ME:Join my online coaching program for women - the Sistahood Learn how to Conquer Social Media through my new Confidently Conquering Social Media Course👑 Want to request a podcast? Have you been looking after yourself?
This is a lesson that I'm in the middle of right now. As ya'll know, I recently had surgery and it's been full on. I've been pushing myself too hard, running around still doing all the things without truly acknowledging how I'm feeling. I'm sore. I'm tired. I've got a million thoughts happening with all the things I want to do. I'm so passionate about all the injustice that's going on in the world right now and I want to serve. But listen, if you're not stopping to acknowledge what your body and your mind really need, then you better believe there will come a point when you can't avoid it anymore. It will make you aware and you will be forced to stop.So my question to you is, are you checking in with yourself? Are you acknowledging that you need time, you need space, you need to sit down and just rest? If you're not doing any of that, how can you expect to be full of energy and ready to serve. It's the truth. I don't believe that life is short. I believe it's long and although I feel as if I've lived such a full life already, I've barely scratched the surface. But if I don't stop and slow the fuck down, then I won't be any good to anybody. Sit with the questions that I ask in this episode. Really feel them and feel your body. Acknowledge that you need to look after yourself and recognise that you need to breathe.Connect with Erika:Instagram: @thequeenofconfidenceFacebook: @TheconfidencequeenYouTube: The Confidence Chronicles and The Queen Of ConfidenceLinkedIn: https://au.linkedin.com/in/erika-cramer-ab695571Sistahood Program: https://thequeenofconfidence.com/sistahood/Website: www.thequeenofconfidence.comWAYS TO WORK WITH ME:Join my online coaching program for women - the Sistahood Learn how to Conquer Social Media through my new Confidently Conquering Social Media Course👑 Want to request a podcast? 10 Things I’ve learned from turning 37
It’s been a big year. A BIG year! As most of you know, I recently had surgery to have my breast implants removed after 13 years and then a breast lift. Ya’ll it really knocked me out and I really didn’t think it was going to be such a big deal. It took a lot of time to heal and now I’ve hit the ground running with live events starting back up and so many things happening, including my birthday!I just turned 37 and I feel like I’ve learned so much this year. These thoughts were pouring out of me at midnight so I decided to share 10 things I’ve learned from turning 37.Even though you’ve already changed so much, there’s still so much more change to comeIf you allow yourself to dream big, you can achieve the unthinkableYour words create your worldIt is ok to have everything you wantEvery time you’re about to move or jump to a new level of yourself, you are definitely going to be scared and “nervicited”I don’t slow down anywhere near as much as I can and that this will be my superpower which I haven’t even scraped the surface ofI sucked at friendships this year and I sucked at keeping in touch with my mom and dad and I need to do better thereYou can thrive and change the world even in a pandemicFamily time matters. It’s ok to be scared when you’re going to be bold and stand up for something. If you fuck it up, you can apologise for doing the wrong thing.BONUS - My husband is always right.Connect with Erika:Instagram: @thequeenofconfidenceFacebook: @TheconfidencequeenYouTube: The Confidence Chronicles and The Queen Of ConfidenceLinkedIn: https://au.linkedin.com/in/erika-cramer-ab695571Sistahood Program: https://thequeenofconfidence.com/sistahood/Website: www.thequeenofconfidence.comWAYS TO WORK WITH ME:Join my online coaching program for women - the Sistahood Learn how to Conquer Social Media through my new Confidently Conquering Social Media Course👑 Want to request a podcast? Life Lessons Series: Recovery post implant removal surgery
It has been a weird few days post implant removal surgery. The pain medication has caused some really tough side effects that caused me to feel like I've been in a daze for the last few days. I couldn't focus, my headaches were intense and my expectations as to how quickly I'd be able to bounce back from this were way off. This has been quite an intense experience and has required a lot more rest and healing than my initial breast surgery 14 years ago. I have stopped taking the pain medication and have now started to feel better. This is the second episode in my breast implant removal series.
