We’re a physical body, but we’re also a mental, emotional and spiritual body. The three all work together, and they’re so intertwined.Gut health and emotional trauma are the biggest places where anxiety comes into play.Homeopathy is the concept of “like cures like”.Biotherapeutic drainage is a combination of low-dose multiple remedies that work down to the cellular level to open up the cells and drain them of the toxic burden that they’re holding on to.Medical freedom is having the ability to choose what goes in and on your body, what medications you choose and don’t choose, and what surgery you want to have or not have.5G means fifth generation cellular communication data. It can also mean the frequency or gigahertz.5G from your phone is a much higher frequency than what we see in 4G and WiFi in a smaller wave. Because the waves are small, they don’t penetrate large things. For this reason, we need small cell towers up to every 500 feet or closer. The wavelength can penetrate millimeters into the skin surface.Action Steps:Lifestyle hacks:Use castor oil packs to support your liver.Do skin brushing.Practice four square breathing.Take cold showers.Turn your phone off at night or at least put it on airplane mode.Spend time in nature.Give yourself a “Mental Health Day” once in a while.Eat “real” food.Drink a lot of water.Take supplements.Move your body as much as you can.Build boundaries with toxic people. Nichole said:“Most of our physical ailments or disease or disturbance in our body comes from an emotional sphere.” “My goal is to make sure people have the information that they need to make very informed healthcare decisions. It’s your actions that are going to bring results.Action Steps:Focus on hydration when you want to optimize the health and beauty of your skin.Go for walks and spend more time in nature.Make sure to include healthy fat in your diet.If you’re looking to connect more deeply with your body, bring in more movement to your day.Learn to take risks and work your trust muscle in business.Don’t neglect sleep and set healthy boundaries around it. Get into a healthy routine in terms of when you go to bed and when you wake up, and keep to that routine even on weekends.Know your human design and learn more about it.Stop rushing through things all the time.Eliminate sugar, gluten, and dairy from your diet. Or at least minimize your intake.Do breathwork.Go for oil cleansing.Use essential oils.Recognize the importance of your relationships and having a creative outlet for your health and healing.Make time for sex.Eat more vegetables.Build your team of people around your health and business. Hire experts and find your support network to help you grow.Reframe how you see your failures and your mistakes, and never give up based on what has happened in the past.Trust what your instincts are telling you.Stop waiting. There’s no perfect time to launch your business or wear that bathing suit or whatever it is you tell yourself. Go and do it now.Reduce. Re-use. Recycle.Detox yourself from unhealthy relationships.Lean into your fears. Your fears are lessons. Don’t avoid them.Lead with love. Samantha said:“I don’t always know the answers. I don’t always know exactly how things are going to work out. I just know that I’m going to show up in full integrity and authenticity, and show up for my community and do my best work, and trust that it’s going to work out.”“Nutrition, sleep, stress, supplements, your relationships, sex life, your creative output… No one magic bullet that is going to magically fix you. Q&A: Adrenal Fatigue, Inflammation and Tips to Work Through Fear and Doubt while Growing Your Business
Welcome to our last Q&A episode for 2020! From there, we can start to make clear decisions and ask the right questions.Some key tests to ask for when you see your doctor:A ferritin testA vitamin D testThe hs-CRP testA full metabolic panelA full thyroid panelThe DUTCH testRoughly 70% to 80% of doctor visits are stress-related conditions.The number one essential to healing your adrenals is sleep. And it’s the number one thing for overall hormonal health.The big three triggers for inflammation are gluten, dairy, and sugar.When doing an elimination diet, don’t just get hung up on the stuff that you can’t have. Think about all the things that you can have and bring them into the diet. Action Steps:Work on yourself, and work through the fears and anxieties and how you’re showing up in the world. Work on how you’re communicating and connecting with people. Work on healing your adrenals if you’re experiencing adrenal fatigue:Practice relaxation and meditation techniques.Use an infrared sauna.Get enough sleep.Ditch the sugar and the caffeine.What to do to manage inflammation:Eliminate gluten, dairy, and sugar from your diet.Supplement with omega-3s.Hyperhydrate. Drink at least 3 liters of water a day.Accept the fears and doubts that you have around your business. If you don’t, building your business is going to be unenjoyable. Samantha said:“It is so vital, now more than ever, for us to be healthy. And I don’t just mean from a health and hormones and nutrition perspective -- that is so key. But from a mental health standpoint, from a personal growth standpoint, it is so important for us to work on ourselves.” “The more successful version of you, the real you, requires that you let go of who you are now.”Thanks for listening! Benefits of Cold Therapy + The Cold Challenge
Are you one of those people who hate taking cold showers and just hate being in the cold in general? Listen in as I share the benefits of cold therapy. Topics Discussed in this Episode:The benefits of cold therapyHow cold therapy impacts the two types of fat in our bodySome ways you can incorporate cold therapy Key Takeaways:The white adipose tissue is the body fat that you want to burn, while the brown adipose tissue is what helps you burn calories and burn the white adipose tissue.Cold therapy stimulates the brown adipose tissue to burn excess fat and glucose for energy.Cold therapy reduces inflammation, swelling, and sore muscles. It’s also linked to improved quality of sleep, more focus, and improved immune response. Action Steps:Take on the challenge to incorporate cold therapy in your day! Here are some ways you can do it:Use ice packs on the back/neck for 30-60 minutes while relaxing at night when insulin levels are higher and more sensitive. Soak your feet in cold water at night or right away in AM when you first wake up. This will stimulate heat throughout the day.Suck on ice cubes throughout the day. You can add flavored stevia to the ice cubes to help sweeten them without adding sugar. Have a snow cone for dessert with flavored stevia. See below for the recipe.Take a cold shower upon arising. As a note - 10 seconds isn't going to cut it, but it's a start. Work your way up to 3-5 minutes for the best results.Lower the temperature in your house by 5 degrees. We always sleep in a cold room, keeping our temperature at around 20 Degrees, or 68F. Try the "healthified” snowcone:Ingredients: 4 cups ice2-3 strawberry tea bags or other fruity tea 1 cup water1 tsp fruit flavored stevia (fruit punch or berry) Directions:Place tea bags in very hot water and let steep for 3-5 minutes. Sweeten with stevia drops to desired sweetness and let cool in the fridge. Once cooled, add to Vitamix (you will need a powerful blender for this) with ice and blend until crushed. Serve and enjoy! Samantha said:“Not only is cold therapy amazing for speeding up our metabolism; there are so many other benefits as well.”“The reason I like to use cold therapy is, from an autoimmune perspective, to really help manage and support my symptoms.” Thanks for listening! We need strong electrical conductivity within every cell in every system of our body for our body to function properly.Sleep is your body’s way of recharging your battery. Action Steps:Work on your gut health.Eat foods that help in the balance of your microbiome and improve its diversity.Decrease your intake of major inflammatory foods: gluten, cow’s dairy, and sugar, or remove them from your diet altogether.Decrease your toxic load.Improve your body’s electrical conductivity.Make sure that you’re taking in enough water and ample amounts of minerals.Get ample amounts of sleep. It’s what you eat 80% of the time that matters the most.
