EP 102: Calling All Cardio Queens & Peloton Princesses! Do You Feel Guilty When You Miss a Workout? 5 Steps to Make Peace With Exercise
Happy Monday Sister Friend!
Have you heard of the phrase, "never miss a Monday"? Gosh, how I use to put that one on like a badge of gym honor. I would show up at 5am on Monday morning ready to slay those calories I hadn't even consumed yet. I was chained to the treadmill. I was addicted to exercise. & don't get me wrong....I hated it.
But I was scared of what I would look like if I didn't workout every day. I was terrified to gain weight. I was afraid of what other people would say about me & my body. I mean, society tells us we are our healthiest when we are pushing harder, lifting heavier, running faster.
Until one day I was more tired than terrified. I got so depleted from trying to keep up with my eating disorder & my unhealthy exercise behaviors, that I just couldn't do it one more day. It had to STOP before my heart exploded.
If you find yourself there today friend....you aren't alone!
I found peace with exercise & you can do the same.
In Episode 102, I share 5 steps that you can take TODAY to change the way you view exercise.
You don't want to miss today's episode of the podcast.
I hope this blesses you & helps you grant yourself permission that you need to HEAL, to REST and to BE.
Start small & be proud! You are creating the BEST version of you.
love ya girl,
lindsey
