EP 117: Do You Restrict More Than Just Food & Calories? Stop Living Restricted! It’s Time to Take Your Power Back From ED
Hello gorgeous!
Please tell me you are counting down till the weekend like I am? I am so flipping thankful it is Friday-eve.
Goodness, has this week been A LOT for me! How about you?
~
When life is crazy it's hard to appreciate the "A LOTs". It's hard to be grateful for overflow & abundance. & when you have an unhealthy relationship with food & your body it makes it nearly impossible to see anything other than LACK.
Your eating disorder restricts more than just food & calories.
If you feel like you never have enough time, money, love or happiness....you aren't alone. This is a tactic of disordered eating. It's how it keeps you in the crazy-making cycle. But sitting in the "not enough" bleeds into "YOU not being enough". & we aren't living in that house anymore sis!
The truth is you are MORE than enough.
& you deserve to start living like it.
You can change your life from living trapped & restricted to living plentiful & abundant!
Tune in to Episode 117, for a pep talk & tangible take aways to help you grab your power back from your unhealthy relationship with food.
I hope today's episode blesses you.
I can't wait for your listen!

Happy Thursday friend!
February is the month of love.
Valentines, galantines, all the hearts, fuzzy bears, roses & chocolates.
Yet when you are stuck in disordered eating, it's truly hard to love anyone the way you are meant to, because it's so hard to love yourself.
That voice inside of your head may tell you that you aren't worthy of those chocolates & even have you avoiding that dinner date out with prince charming.
Truth is: it's okay if you aren't in love with your body....YET.
Sis, This is a journey.
Healing takes time.
Today, I'm sharing with you a Self Love Checklist of 18 things that you can do this week (or any time really) to practice self love, & honor the skin you are in.
~
In order to love who you are...you can't hate the experiences that have made you who you are.
When you own your story, you can love WHO you are & be excited in where you are going next.

EP 114: How to Stop Counting Calories! 6 Steps to Honor Your Recovery Journey & Quit Obsessing Over Numbers🔢
Hey Sis!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
A weekend of all the good things. A weekend of moments & joy.
A weekend where you didn't find yourself obsessing over food or calories.
~
But, I am here today to tell you...if you did indeed spend some or a ton of your weekend counting calories....there is FREEDOM & HOPE.
I was THE calorie counting Queen.
I knew the calories in every single thing I put into my mouth (and most things I avoided too). It was a never ending cycle of math...& by the way, I suck at math!
Just like I had to learn the calories of foods during my eating disorder, I also had to learn to give myself grace & permission to STOP counting them during my recovery.
In Episode 114, I share 6 steps to honor your journey, so that you can quit obsessing over gaining weight & counting calories.
I hope today's episode blesses you.
I can't wait for your listen!

EP 112: Facing Challenging Emotions? Use the H.A.L.T Method to Build Internal Awareness When You Find Yourself Controlling Food
Hey there sister friend!
I hope your week is off to a great start!
Mine? Well, let's just hope it's better than yesterday.
Yesterday, my 5 year old had a full blown melt down. The type of meltdown where there is absolutely nothing you can do as a mama, but hug, count and wait for it to pass. Yep, I nearly had a meltdown trying to calm him from his own meltdown.
But right in the middle of this situation I realized that his sweet little self just needed to pause and take a time out to reflect on what it is that he actually needed.
He needed to HALT.
He needed to process.
He needed to feel.
~
Are you facing challenging emotions? Do those feelings cause you to turn to food or to restrict your food?
Oh girl, how I can relate!
~
Disordered eating isn't about food.
Disordered eating isn't about body image.
Disordered eating is an attempt to deal with emotions that manifest into idols and obsessions over time when left unprocessed. It's feelings left unfelt. It's coping gone wrong....
But there is good news! Having an unhealthy relationship with food is a learned behavior. Which means it can be unlearned when you choose to release it.
If you find yourself in meltdown mode, turning to food (or turning away from it) then Episode 112 is going to bless you so very much!
On today's show, I share the H.A.L.T Method with you and how you can leverage this mindfulness technique to help you find freedom from food controlling your life.
I can't wait for your listen!

EP 110: The 3 Step Formula to Find Confidence in WHO You Are Becoming, so That You Can Change Your Food & Body Relationship
Happy Monday!
How was your weekend? This one was one for the books for me. My hubby and kids threw me the most fantastic birthday full of all the things....crabcakes, cake and confetti....oh my!
But birthdays used to be the WORST days for me when I was struggling in my eating disorder. I had no desire to celebrate. I didn't like who I was. I wasn't confident in who I was.....I couldn't even remember who I was without my disorder controlling my every day.
In order to get out of the trenches....I had to change.
I had to create confidence when I wasn't feeling confident AT ALL.
I had to find belief and keep promises to myself.
I had to find ME again.....and maybe sis that is right where you are today.
~
In Episode 110, I share with you the 3 step formula to find confidence in WHO you are becoming so that you can change your food and body relationship.
I can't wait for you to listen in!

EP 109: Do You Find Yourself Pushing off Eating? Pausing Your Recovery? How Procrastination Impacts Your Freedom Journey & What You Can Do to STOP It
Hey girl! It's Thursday & do I have an amazing Podcast episode for you!
This one is all about PROCRASTINATION!
Are you a perfectionist? Dreamer? Blamer? Overdoer?
If clouds are full of water,
they pour rain on the earth.
Whether a tree falls to the south or to the north,
in the place where it falls, there it will lie.
Whoever watches the wind will not plant;
whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.
~Ecclesiastes 11:3-4
If you want change but then find yourself pushing it off & so you struggle day after day to actually move forward....oh how I see you!
I remember opening up the fridge only to not know what to eat...yet, I had just left the grocery store. I remember looking at the clock, secretly wishing I could have something to eat...but in my mind, "it was too early".
If either of these situations resonate with you then I encourage you to listen in to Episode 109. I discuss how procrastination is a symptom of a feeling and underlying belief & how it can be unlearned & changed.
I share with you steps to take to STOP procrastinating on yourself & your freedom, so that you can find peace in your life & harmony in your mind & kitchen!
Tune in to this one sis!
