Friend, meet Eugene Drake the founder and creative director of The Drakes, award-winning filmmakers and photographers, specializing in wedding cinematography. Eugene was born in Venezuela. He is passionate about storytelling, human connections, and keeping memories. Early in life, he felt a calling for the arts which led him to study Graphic Design. While exploring arts, he started a clothing brand, organized a local design market, and acted in theater for almost ten years. Eventually, he transitioned to director's assistant and opened a creative agency in 2009 for media content. He has been a filmmaker, and photographer since. His work has been getting notoriety after winning national and international awards. Before we jump into the meat of this conversation let’s define what the word “disruptive” means: DISRUPTIVE dis·​rup·​tive | \ dis-ˈrəp-tiv \ adjective causing or tending to cause disruption. innovative or groundbreaking.
