Jojo & Dayra welcome Kenny on this week's episode to discuss how sexuality can actually be fluid! For some, labels allow them to be seen & approached by the public with what they self- identity but for others, labels can feel like a box, not flexible enough for growth. Kenny shares with us her coming out stories at a young age, the history of her romantic relationships with women, how therapy helped her to set the boundaries necessary in a way where nothing could hinder her growth, and lastly what encouraged her to be open minded about allowing a male to potentially pursue her romantically. We hear straight women say quite often "I'm about to start dating women" with the idea that women relationships are easier to handle. Little do most people know lesbian/wlw relationships require much more effort than expected. Jojo & Dayra go over examples of how they've had to set boundaries in the past with partners, family, friends, the workplace, etc..    We’ve all been in situations where we find it difficult to set boundaries with a friend because we’re worried about coming off rude or offensive. Dayra is the queen of boundaries!    Setting boundaries is about taking care of your own needs. Setting boundaries might mean you might lose people, most people don't like boundaries because they like having power, give that power back to yourself instead..
