Breaking Free: Releasing Trapped Emotions for a Healthier You - with Dr. Bradley Nelson

Miraculous healing can and does occur, and there is a space for it in the medical field.   Learn how to heal your aches and pains in this interview with Dr. Bradley Nelson(@Dr. Nelson) as he shares the secrets of how to create freedom from pain in your body.  His books The Emotion Code and now The Body Code System are known worldwide as a go-to manual for healing.   “It is time to start taking back our own ability to work on our bodies. There's so much that we can do. Most of the time, we don't need drugs, most of the time, we don't need surgery.” - Dr. Bradley Nelson   Key Takeaways: The Emotion Code: Einstein said that the future of medicine will be based on frequencies. The Emotion Code is a transformative healing method that detects where negative emotions are stored. The subconscious mind knows what the blocked emotions are. Once they have been identified, they can be released by yourself or an Emotion Code Practitioner.   Listening to Your Body: If you are in chronic pain, whether it is physical or emotional, you can learn a lot about how you suppress, process, and engage with your emotions. To learn from your state of mind or body, you must slow down, stop, and listen to what the underlying message is. This is where a therapist, somatic practitioner, or other practitioners in the healing arts can assist you in liberating the insistent loop that keeps you locked in a state of suffering.    Releasing Trapped Emotions: By finding and removing trapped emotional energy in the body, people start to feel like a different kind of person. They feel more aligned in their bodies, minds, and hearts; there is a sense of returning home. There is a sense of freedom and ease created by the space left once the trapped emotions leave the body. 6 Types of Imbalances: 1) Energetic imbalances, 2) Nervous system imbalances, 3) Stored toxins, 4) Nutritional and lifestyle imbalances, 5.)Skeletal and Musculature misalignments, and 6) Pathogens.   Sponsors and Promotions:   Zbiotics: ZBiotics Pre-Alcohol Probiotic Drink is the world’s first genetically engineered probiotic.  Go to zbiotics.com/DIVINE to get 15% off your first order, and use code DIVINE    Lectric eBikes:  Shift into a new way of getting out there with a Lectric eBike. USA is Failing at HealthCare(with Henry Buchwald)

You can't fix healthcare with ideology. We need practical solutions.   Dr. Henry Buchwald (@Dr. Buchwald), believes our healthcare system is upside down! After 60 years as a surgeon and educator, this 90-year-old doctor is doing everything he can to educate people in the USA on why the healthcare system needs them to change it. In this podcast, he discusses what he has seen in his decades of practice and his new book, Healthcare Upside Down. “Healthcare needs to be treated with respect.” - Henry Buchwald   Key Takeaways: Broken Medical Care: According to Dr. Henry Buchwald, the United States medical system is broken. The doctor-patient relationship could be more varied and consistent. Instead, it is almost non-existent. Insurance companies are profiting from people's illnesses. The USA is way behind in statistics overall for our medical care and advancements. It's a business model where doctors are interchangeable, and patient care needs to be improved. Healthcare and Life: Our life from birth involves health care. Growing up and achieving adulthood requires health care. Being able to live a mature life to work, to love, and to have children is dependent on health care. In the final chapter, aging can be made pleasurable by healthcare. Healthcare is, therefore, integral to life from beginning to end. Healthcare is not a commodity but a necessity.  Fraternal Organizations for Healthcare: A not-for-profit member-owned healthcare insurance is one of the best ways to ensure you will be cared for by the company you pay a monthly per diem to. There are many out there, and many more collective organizations starting to pop up due to the need and demand from our underserved population in the USA. Finding our Collective Voice:  Many individuals feel like they need a voice. If people can find a voice together, they will see the power in the collective. This can be done by looking at our immediate environments to see who owns the power structure. Utilizing leaders in our communities and working within organizations like our church or place of work can create a collective voice for the individual.    Sponsors and Promotions:   Momentous Sleep Pack: Momentous Sleep Pack features a 30-day supply of easy-to-use tear-away packs featuring three natural ingredients that prime you for a good night's rest. https://www.livemomentous.com, and use code Divine   Links for Henry Buchwald: Website LinkedIn Health Care Upside Down Book

Exploiting and Exploring(with Adam Alter)

Our environment shapes how we think, feel, and behave in ways we might not imagine.  How can you create a Breakthrough? In this episode, Adam Alter (@Adam Alter), a New York Times Best Selling Author and Professor of Marketing and Psychology at NYU Stern School of Business, discusses the importance of exploitation and exploration.   “For successful artists, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, they all do this, whether they know they're doing it or not. When you look at their careers, you see, explore, then exploit, explore and exploit. And that's a recipe for success. ” - Adam Alter   Key Takeaways:   Marketing and Communication: Marketing is about consumer behavior. To market anything, you want to look at how humans behave. If you want to direct their behavior in a particular way, it is best to make them feel something. All the best advertising, all the best communication, and the best appeals are grounded in making people feel something really fast. AI and Idea Generation: Chat GPT is becoming an excellent ally for generating ideas. It is through a collaborative approach to get the best ideas out of AI. You can compare Chat GPT to having 10 intelligent people in a room to brainstorm ideas with. It is a powerful and fantastic brainstorming partner.  Environmental Influence: Every living being is impacted by their environment. The color of paint on a wall, the weather, and your location all impact you. Spending time in nature and natural environments is crucial to noticing how the organic world affects you compared to our more fabricated cities and towns. If you are interested in this topic, you can find many of the principles mentioned in architectural, industrial design, space design, and civil engineering. Also, a lot of cognitive psychologists study behavioral architecture, which is the idea that even your immediate environment, like the room you're sitting in, will affect the decisions you make. PBTA. Pause, Breathe, Think, and Act. This powerful practice is a way to train your brain for high-intensity or high-stress environments. It is best to practice daily in some simulation where you feel external pressure that is not putting you at risk physically, emotionally, or mentally.  Sponsors and Promotions: Momentus: Designed by the world’s best experts, used by the world’s best teams and athletes, and made for all of us. https://www.livemomentous.com, and use code DIVINE for 20% off your first order.    Links for Adam Alter: Website LinkedIn Twitter

The Gateway to Growth(with Erik Korem)

We need to develop the skills that are thought to be just in the zone of genius and make them commonplace. Dr. Erik Kormen (@ErikKorem) shares his expertise on high-performance technology and innovative thinking to reach maximum human potential. He shares how to unlock the power of tracking your fitness and recovery through his revolutionary fitness tracker, AIM7.  “Stress is really not the enemy. It's the gateway to growth.” - Erik Korem   Key Takeaways: Coaching: A good coach helps somebody unlock their potential or pull a roadblock out of the way. They identify what their client/athlete’s strengths and weaknesses are. Coaches and teachers, mentors, advisors, and co-creators. A coaching relationship is a two-way street. The coach helps clients create a better possible future. In the process, both the athlete/client elevate the realm of possibilities and potential of life and the goals set. Adaptive Capacity: People who are the best in the world at what they do can adapt to tremendous levels of psycho-physiological stress. Part of it is genetic, and part of it is developed. So, just like any capability, people are wired with specific innate abilities, and they can constantly improve them. When someone exceeds their capacity to adapt to acute or chronic stress, they get injured, burn out, and develop physical and mental health issues. Adaptive capacity is training your stress responders so that your gas tank(resolve) is higher/bigger. This allows you to do more with less cost. Building this capacity involves five basic things: sleep, exercise, mental fitness, nutrition, and healthy relationships. Allostasis for Adaptation: When your body tries to achieve stability through change. Allostatic load is the cost that is incurred whenever you experience a stressor. Your adaptive capacity gets bigger if you can build more capacity for more allostatic load. When that happens, what once was incredibly taxing is now your baseline. There is a limit to this, but most people have yet to get close to their absolute capacity. This is, again, psycho-physical. It's both the capacity of mental processing as well as physiological processing.   Sponsors and Promotions: Life Force: Start your membership today and save 40% using code DIVINE40.  https://www.mylifeforce.com/divine   Vessi: Get the extraordinary sneakers that could redefine your daily commute and weekend adventures.  Get 15% off your order and save by using code DIVINE https://www.vessi.com/DIVINE   Lectric eBikes: Shift into a new way of getting out there with a Lectric eBike. Why Therapy Isn’t Just for the “Crazy”(with Juliet Kuehnle)

Taking deep breaths is the number one coping skill that radically shifts your physiology and psychology.  Who You Callin' Crazy by host and author Juliet Kuehnle (@Yep,Igototherapy). Her podcast and book's mission is to destigmatize therapy. This interview with Juliet is a passionate and playful conversation that provides applicable tools and information on how to be balanced in our minds, emotions, and bodies.   “A good therapist will guide you." - Juliet Kuehnle    Key Takeaways: Trifecta: Physical, mental, and emotional health is the ultimate trifecta. All these aspects of ourselves coexist. Having an emotional coach is just as important as someone teaching you how to lift weights or set goals. Radical Acceptance: Radical acceptance is a skill that we can build on. It is a dialectical behavioral therapy skill where you learn what it looks like to accept reality and not fight things out of your control. Also, how not to carry things that don't belong to you, such as emotions or opinions of others. And possibly the most important, how to cope with the uncertainty of life. Coping Skills: Did you know there are different coping skills? Here are three examples: 1. Avoidance-oriented coping skills: distracting ourselves intentionally in a positive way. 2. emotion-oriented coping skills: how to process and move through emotion (excellent to learn from a therapist). 3. Problem-oriented or solution-oriented coping skills: if there's a problem, use critical thinking to figure out how to solve and execute it. Knowing and being more intentional about these skills allows you to utilize the proper ones at the right moments. Understanding Anxiety: The foundation of anxiety in uncertainty. Many people in this fast-paced and changing world experience anxiety. Finding tools such as breath work, meditation, and visualization for centering and focusing on what you can control are all effective. Seeking therapy or a trained coach for support and learning tools is a suitable pathway.  Sponsors and Promotions:   Momentous Sleep Pack Momentous Sleep Pack features a 30-day supply of easy-to-use tear-away packs featuring three natural ingredients that prime you for a good night's rest. Unlocking Leadership Insights with John Lovell: The Warrior Poet's Guide to a Meaningful Life

We are the ones who can make the changes for a better society. Put down your phone and pick up a book.  John Lovell(@JohnLovell_wps)is the CEO and founder of the Warrior Poet Society. A values-based community dedicated to physical protection, pursuit of truth, and living a higher purpose. His mission is to teach and train individuals in a life that they feel balanced and fulfilled. He's a former Army Ranger who served in the Second Ranger Battalion. He is the author of The Warrior Poets Way: A Guide to Living Free and Dying Well. He is an outstanding public speaker and firearms instructor who has chosen the life of a homesteader on a small farm in Georgia, where he lives with his wife and two kids.   “Goodness means I could be ready to die with a smile on my lips and a song in my heart." - John Lovell   Key Takeaways: Adapt Your Leadership: Acknowledging that there is no turnkey way to lead individuals is a component of good leadership. Leaders need to read what drives each team member and guide them accordingly. Be flexible with your leadership style to curate meaningful and successful outcomes. Easy Leadership: Have systems that serve your organization and people in place. When you have adequate systems, and your people love and appreciate you as a leader, they want you to win. Once you have people’s loyalty, they will do their best to anticipate what you need before you ask for it. This makes it easier to be a leader. To create this environment, you have to honestly care about the people around you and try to know them so they reciprocate and put in the effort to know you.  Warrior Poet: Someone who lives for a higher purpose and is ready to sacrifice to defend others. It's someone who recognizes that you should be entirely a lover and a fighter. You should be fully a lion and fully a lamp. You should be both. To be deficient in either is a deficiency in both because a real warrior protects, a real warrior loves, and a real lover protects. Protection and love flow into each other, and it is a requirement to balance out a person.  Face Your Death: It is unnecessary to put yourself in harm's way to access the teaching of facing your mortality. This can be a meditation instead of actual life circumstances. Meditate on your own demise. Ask yourself exactly what's worth living for. What would you immediately declutter if you discovered today was your last day? Now, 1-2-3, go and make the changes so each action you make is towards the stuff that really matters.    Sponsors and Promotions:   Life Force: Start your membership today and save 40% using code DIVINE40.  https://www.mylifeforce.com/divine   Factor http://factormeals.com/divine50 Use code divine50 to get 50% off.    Mindbloom Right now, Mindbloom is offering our listeners $100 off your first six session program when you sign up at https://www.mindbloom.com/podcast/divine and use promo code DIVINE. Always Hope(with Tim Timberlake)

Life has a way of reminding us that we have a desperate need to rest. He is known for his sense of humor and in-depth teaching, which gives listeners and readers the tools to transform their lives from the inside out. Tim is the author of The Power of 1440. His latest book, The Art of Overcoming, was an instant bestseller and a fantastic guide for navigating life's turbulent waters.   (919)-568-5873 is the number of Tim Timberlake(@TTimberlake). Text him if you need words of encouragement. Tim is the Senior Pastor of Celebration Church in Jacksonville, Florida. He's the author of The Power of 1440. His latest book, The Art of Overcoming, was an instant bestseller and a wonderful guide for navigating life's turbulent waters. All walks of life are invited to visit his church and teachings so that they can discover their faith through lived experience.   “I have a very black-and-white view of the Bible, I believe that the Bible is true. I believe that what Jesus states in the Bible is both applicable and life-changing and transformational for those that lean into it.”   - Tim Timberlake   Key Takeaways:   Insecurities Louder than Confidences: Is it possible that we(ourselves) are our most significant challenge to overcome? If we're not careful, our insecurities scream louder than our confidence. Insecurities can lead and dictate and even try to determine what we do. So we have to learn not just to navigate but really wrestle with our insecurities, anxieties, worries, and fears because those things can become walls that hinder us from advancing in this life. Build your confidence by celebrating the small wins, following through with your goals, and staying optimistic regardless of your current circumstances.   Forgiveness: When we hold onto resentment, it puts us in a place where we are hostage to something in the past that is outside our control. Frequently, the person we are harboring unforgiveness towards isn't even thinking about what they did to us; they're on to the next thing. It is vital to get beyond this unforgiveness. Forgive so that you can start, initiate, and activate the healing process. This frees us from being prisoners to something that someone else did.    Celebrating Differences: People have different perspectives of right/wrong or good/bad. Our overall lived experiences are different. Our differences should not be a divisive tool that brings further separation. Our differences must be discussed, and we come to some understanding and agreement. Spread love instead of divisiveness.   The 3 of Overcoming: 1: Acknowledge that you need assistance and overcoming. The reality is that we may run faster alone, but we will run longer alongside someone else. Talk to people and get resources. 2: Get plugged into a community, some type of life-giving community that feeds you and fills you, and allows you to give to yourself and others. 3: Give yourself the same grace you would give other people if you were helping them go through a crisis.  Sponsors and Promotions:   Wild Health Wild Health opened 10 spots in their Premium Program for MARK DIVINE SHOW listeners. Being Relational (with Jayson Gaddis)

The most effective way to de-stress a kid when upset is through another person to co-regulate into eye contact.   Relationship expert and coach Jayson Gaddis(@JaysonGaddis) advocates for us to remember that life is relational. Shining his talents as an artist, author, podcaster, speaker, and executive coach, he developed The Relationship School, where he trained over 200 coaches in 11 countries. His book Getting to Zero: How to Work Through Conflict in Your High Stakes Relationship was voted editor's choice, best nonfiction, and best leadership and business book in 2021 on Amazon.    Jayson Gaddis(@JaysonGaddis) believes in being relational with self and others, which ignites openhearted living. Jayson's an artist, author, and executive coach. As CEO and founder of The Relationship School, he is passionate and prepared to train and support anyone ready to break unhealthy patterns and liberate themselves in relationships. He has trained over 200 coaches in 11 countries as a relationship expert. He's got a fantastic book called Getting to Zero: How to Work through Conflict in Your High Stakes Relationship.    “Depending on what you want, right, like a guy has to look, if I want good sex, if I want a heart connection, if I want my kids to trust me, if I want to be a trustworthy leader, most of us are more and more drawn to heart-centered leaders.”   - Jayson Gaddis   Key Takeaways:   Head, Heart, & Hands: Jnana, Bhakti, and Karma are the paths of wisdom, devotion, and action/service. Many people pick just one to live their lives and evolve by. When striving for integration and integral living, having all three areas developed and aligned is where balance is found.    Emotional Health: Being Metally clear and focused is directly tied to emotional awareness and resiliency. Heart-centered leaders are needed and desired in the new marketplace, home, and communities. Due to society's conditioning, taking the reigns of your emotional landscape is essential. At this tipping point on the planet, it is vital to acknowledge the emotional numbing that we have been conditioned to, to connect with your own heart intelligence, and to allow yourself to be open and vulnerable to connect with others in authenticity and love.   Being vs. Doing in Relationships: Presence in a relationship is not a box to be checked. People can smell the bullshit from a mile away. To participate in conversations and authentically listen, the first step is empathy. The second step is recognizing that negative attitudes and lack of presence potentially negatively impact people. If you want to be successful in leadership, as a relational leader, or in your home, you must be sensitive to impact and consider other people's feelings as you walk through the world.    Slowing Down to Connect: Connection takes slowing down from the hustle and opening your heart in the moment with another person. To make contact with another person, put away your devices, look in their eyes, and take a breath.
