But as the days turn into weeks and weeks into months – and sometimes years, we find ourselves trapped in a cycle of postponement and excuses. It's a story that's all too familiar, and yet, it's one that can have a transformativeending. Our bodies, even in their 50s, 60s, and beyond, have an incrediblecapacity to heal, rejuvenate, and thrive. The key lies in shifting our mindset,in understanding that fitness isn't just about rigorous workouts or strictdiets. When we conjure up images of 72 year olds, we might think of a bespeckled grandmotherly woman in a rocking chair with her knitting on her lap. Certainly we wouldn't imagine this woman fighting.
