Episode 81: “Eraced” with John Amanchukwu

We discovered John Amanchukwu when he spoke before the Wake County School Board in North Carolina, and that video went viral. He is an author, speaker and reverend, but he spoke as a father and concerned citizen, and he delivered facts—the state of the educational system that is supposed to serve his children, and the 3 letter ideologies and initiatives like CRT and DEI that are supposed to help them. And it caught not only our attention but the attention of the national media. We talk about his perspective as a black man, father, husband and leader in America, about Critical Race Theory and racism in America, and about his newest book, Eraced, available now.

Episode 80: Outrage Hypocrisy

In this episode, the trio has a "raw and real", unfiltered and perhaps non-politically-correct conversation around current events that are sparking outrage from every side, and they are inviting you into it. They admittedly may not know or understand every detail of every topic, but they sure have a lot of questions about them, and they think you might, too. And they don't want to tell you WHAT to think about anything--they want to challenge you to just DO IT--to look a little deeper and put an end to blindly following ANYONE. From the first amendment to Twitter to Balenciaga to a child being denied a kidney transplant at Duke to parenting to "toxic masculinity" (you might be surprised at Holly's unpopular opinion to say OUT LOUD)...they cover all this and more. Listen in!

Episode 76: "All Things Flu" with Dr. Cammy Benton

As news outlets report that "flu season is on track to be very, very bad", as the New York Times warns that a "Tripledemic" is upon us with the flu, RSV, and Covid colliding, and as every Health & Human Services department across the land urges you to get the flu jibby-jab "to protect yourself and others", we wanted to know the science behind it all from someone who has actually studied it. Do you need it? Will it protect you? Does it stop transmission? What is the actual science behind it? Are we following it? And why all the fear, all the headlines, all the reminders to "get the jibby jab"? We talk about this with Dr. Cammy Benton, a physician whose goal is to keep you out of her office because she is teaching you how to live in optimal health. So perhaps more importantly, we talk about prevention and cures--affordable, at home measures you can take for you and your family to help you stay healthy or get healthy this winter. Episode 75: "A Simple Seed" With Katie Wood

Sadly, the evidence is overwhelmingly clear: anxiety, depression and behavioral problems in children are on the rise, while the emotional well-being and mental health of parents as well as their parenting abilities are all suffering in tandem. And the pandemic has only made all of this worse. The solutions to these problems are multi-faceted, no doubt, but one thing EVERY parent can do is take the responsibility and time to address their home first. So how do we help both ourselves and our children address the mental challenges we face? Well one place to begin is by addressing mindset and practicing gratitude. And one of the most effective tools we have found for children and adults alike is the 5 minute daily journal called "A Simple Seed". A Simple Seed is a morning journal for kids and their parents (or teachers and their students) to start the day with a simple life-lesson, simple goals, simple affirmations, plus a pause for gratitude and a giggle--and all can happen in just a few minutes before you leave the house each day (or go to bed each night).Author, mom, wife, former teacher and entrepreneur, Katie Wood, wrote this journal over the course of the pandemic while trying to find a way to preserve her own sanity and help her children do the same. Her family became the "guinea pigs" for how the simple routine outlined in "A Simple Seed" could positively impact an entire family. And once they experienced the fruit of the seed, Katie knew she had to share it. As Katie says, "There is power in teaching kids how to think versus what to think."We LOVED this conversation with Katie about parenting, reaching our children where they are, and empowering them to be the much-needed leaders of their generation. If you are a parent, grandparent or teacher, or if you want to be someday, of if YOU could use some help with your own mindset--listen in and share!

Episode 74: "Why It's Critical That You Understand the History of Critical Theory" with Lindy Ford

You've heard it discussed on the news, in school board meetings, in corporate board meetings, and on college campuses: Critical Race Theory. But did you know that CRT is born out of a broader "Critical Theory" which has been around for generations. In some countries, like France, its premises have largely been rejected for its divisiveness, yet there has been a movement to force its implementation into every facet of American society--from schools and universities to corporations and institutions. Some argue that it is a solution for the disparities in society. Others argue that while it is shrouded in the appearance of good--"equity for all", this also means equality of outcomes regardless of effort, which wreaks of Marxism and socialism. And they argue that instead of eradicating racism, it promotes it. We talk with fellow mother and education activist, Lindy Ford, who took her own deep dive into Critical Theory to understand its origins and premise. And she shares information that EVERY parent needs to know.

Episode 73: "If You Can't Trust Anthony Fauci, Who Can You Trust?" with Steve Kirsch

This week we chat once again with Steve Kirsch, silicon valley entrepreneur, inventor and former multi-million dollar donor to the Democratic party. When Steve discovered injuries amongst friends who had complied with mandates, his eyes were opened to so much more than the fact that the mandates could be deadly. So in April 2020, Kirsch founded the COVID-19 Early Treatment Fund (CETF) to fund research into off-label treatments for COVID-19 among drugs already having FDA approval for other diseases, donating $1 million himself and also fundraising from others. He recruited what MIT Technology Review called "a powerhouse board" of scientific advisors to develop treatments. Since then, he has worked full-time to bring the truth to light, to work with teams of experts to follow the actual science, and to network to get the truth out to as many people as possible. Listen in as Steve shares some of the latest developments in his search and fight for the truth and against the false narratives.
