Just Think: The Podcast
Just Think: The Podcast is hosted by 3 American women who invite you into their conversation about current events and challenge you to think critically about the information you are given. With a strong aversion to labels, political correctness, and censorship and committed to the premise that they never want to tell people WHAT to think but instead challenge everyone to not blindly accept what we are told is true but to ask hard, sometimes uncomfortable questions around the topics affecting all of us, to search for the answers among a variety of sources, to consider inherent bias...this podcast will challenge you to JUST THINK for yourself.

Episode 76: "All Things Flu" with Dr. Cammy Benton
As news outlets report that "flu season is on track to be very, very bad", as the New York Times warns that a "Tripledemic" is upon us with the flu, RSV, and Covid colliding, and as every Health & Human Services department across the land urges you to get the flu jibby-jab "to protect yourself and others", we wanted to know the science behind it all from someone who has actually studied it. Do you need it? Will it protect you? Does it stop transmission? What is the actual science behind it? Are we following it? And why all the fear, all the headlines, all the reminders to "get the jibby jab"? We talk about this with Dr. Cammy Benton, a physician whose goal is to keep you out of her office because she is teaching you how to live in optimal health. So perhaps more importantly, we talk about prevention and cures--affordable, at home measures you can take for you and your family to help you stay healthy or get healthy this winter. You do not want to miss this!

Episode 75: "A Simple Seed" With Katie Wood
Sadly, the evidence is overwhelmingly clear: anxiety, depression and behavioral problems in children are on the rise, while the emotional well-being and mental health of parents as well as their parenting abilities are all suffering in tandem. And the pandemic has only made all of this worse. The solutions to these problems are multi-faceted, no doubt, but one thing EVERY parent can do is take the responsibility and time to address their home first. So how do we help both ourselves and our children address the mental challenges we face? Well one place to begin is by addressing mindset and practicing gratitude. And one of the most effective tools we have found for children and adults alike is the 5 minute daily journal called "A Simple Seed". A Simple Seed is a morning journal for kids and their parents (or teachers and their students) to start the day with a simple life-lesson, simple goals, simple affirmations, plus a pause for gratitude and a giggle--and all can happen in just a few minutes before you leave the house each day (or go to bed each night).Author, mom, wife, former teacher and entrepreneur, Katie Wood, wrote this journal over the course of the pandemic while trying to find a way to preserve her own sanity and help her children do the same. Her family became the "guinea pigs" for how the simple routine outlined in "A Simple Seed" could positively impact an entire family. And once they experienced the fruit of the seed, Katie knew she had to share it. As Katie says, "There is power in teaching kids how to think versus what to think."We LOVED this conversation with Katie about parenting, reaching our children where they are, and empowering them to be the much-needed leaders of their generation. If you are a parent, grandparent or teacher, or if you want to be someday, of if YOU could use some help with your own mindset--listen in and share!

Episode 74: "Why It's Critical That You Understand the History of Critical Theory" with Lindy Ford
You've heard it discussed on the news, in school board meetings, in corporate board meetings, and on college campuses: Critical Race Theory. But did you know that CRT is born out of a broader "Critical Theory" which has been around for generations. In some countries, like France, its premises have largely been rejected for its divisiveness, yet there has been a movement to force its implementation into every facet of American society--from schools and universities to corporations and institutions. Some argue that it is a solution for the disparities in society. Others argue that while it is shrouded in the appearance of good--"equity for all", this also means equality of outcomes regardless of effort, which wreaks of Marxism and socialism. And they argue that instead of eradicating racism, it promotes it. We talk with fellow mother and education activist, Lindy Ford, who took her own deep dive into Critical Theory to understand its origins and premise. And she shares information that EVERY parent needs to know.

Episode 73: "If You Can't Trust Anthony Fauci, Who Can You Trust?" with Steve Kirsch
This week we chat once again with Steve Kirsch, silicon valley entrepreneur, inventor and former multi-million dollar donor to the Democratic party. When Steve discovered injuries amongst friends who had complied with mandates, his eyes were opened to so much more than the fact that the mandates could be deadly. So in April 2020, Kirsch founded the COVID-19 Early Treatment Fund (CETF) to fund research into off-label treatments for COVID-19 among drugs already having FDA approval for other diseases, donating $1 million himself and also fundraising from others. He recruited what MIT Technology Review called "a powerhouse board" of scientific advisors to develop treatments. Since then, he has worked full-time to bring the truth to light, to work with teams of experts to follow the actual science, and to network to get the truth out to as many people as possible. Listen in as Steve shares some of the latest developments in his search and fight for the truth and against the false narratives.

Episode 71: "Call A Crackhead"
Election season is upon us which means the spin, propaganda, and fear mongering is upon us. We kicked off this episode with a campaign ad which actually made us laugh...and think (hence the crackhead title). We are realizing more and more that if we do not stand up to protect the valued freedoms and institutions in this country that serve us, we are going to lose them. And if we do not recognize the corruption within some of those institutions and hold them accountable, we just might lose each other. We work again this week to bring some of this to light, to point you to resources and information that you can rely on and share, to help you just think about what is really going on and how you can make a difference.

Episode 70: Reality Check
The gaslighting attempts are escalating--the spin, the propaganda, the twisting of the truth to fit a narrative--is so prevalent it is now normalized. It seems that some believe if they say something enough, even if it is false, they can make it true. At the very least, they seem to be able to make it believable to some. And NONE of us are exempt from being impacted by it. It is why now, more than ever, we must work to resist cognitive dissonance, disconnect from any tribalism that contributes to blind trust, ask questions, search for the truth ourselves, JUST THINK, and feel free to speak our minds. This week, we "fact check" the "fact checkers" on some hot topics. Now that election season is at hand, you better believe the attempts to manipulate you with fear and anger will escalate, and you need to be prepared to combat this with clarity and the truth.

Episode 69: "The Unlearning" with Nurse Practitioner & "Natural Nurse Momma" Lauren Johnson
Many of us, both within the medical profession and outside of it, have gained tremendous clarity through the realization that we all need to "unlearn" so much of what we have learned about health, nutrition, medicine, prevention, etc. Nurse Practitioner, Lauren Johnson, or "Natural Nurse Momma" as she is known to her more than 200,000 followers on social media, realized while practicing medicine that she needed to unlearn so much of what she had been taught in medical school in order to help her patients truly be healed and healthy. And she realized this after battling her own health conditions and examining her own medications and treatments. In this episode, we will challenge all of us to not be overwhelmed by the realization that you, too, may need to unlearn some things, or to be paralyzed by all the information available, but to instead "just think". What could be at the root of my health concerns? What am I doing that could make my life better or worse? And how can I move forward in making better, more informed choices, one day at a time. Change can be intimidating and overwhelming. We want to encourage you that change can be simple and incremental. And incremental changes can dramatically improve your health and your life.

Maybe you saw it last week? The President of The United States, in an address from Philadelphia broadcast to the entire country, declared, “Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic," Many on both sides of the aisle found his message to be alarming and divisive, but one person in particular set out to kindly, frankly, and eloquently set the record straight about who exactly MAGA Republicans are. And we think you might be surprised, as his explanation and persona absolutely defies the public perception perpetuated by opponents and aided by the mainstream media.Alma Ohene-Apare went viral in his video response to the president which included the assurance, “Mr, President, I am not your enemy.” We were beyond inspired and encouraged, so we had to introduce you all to him and learn more from him. Episode 67: (Still) Defeating the Mandates with NYC Firefighter Matt Connor
Join the trio as they chat with Matt Connor, a New York City firefighter who is a trustee with the National Coalition of Frontline Workers, an organization whose goal is "to provide unparalleled, compassionate representation for every frontline worker in the United States" and whose focus is on "affecting immediate change, anchoring our work on protecting human rights and preserving the freedom of individual choice". In 2020, Matt and his colleagues were hailed the "heroes of the pandemic", going to work to serve the American people and risking exposure when so little was known about the disease at the time. Fast forward to last year, if these "heroes" did not comply with mandates, they were demonized and fired. Matt's story is representative of thousands of others, and their stories MUST be told and shared and the wrongs against them rectified.
