Life Lessons from Disney PIXAR's Soul
Welcome to Always Better than Yesterday! Come join us over on Facebook at www.facebook.com/groups/weareABTY
We love inspiring you to grow in your heart and mind and love to share a good life lesson from Disney.
If you want more inspiring content, see our channel, be sure to subscribe and enjoy hours worth of help.
In this episode I share with you 9 life lessons from Disney PIXAR's SOUL.
The story follows Joe, a middle-school band teacher whose life hasn't quite gone the way he expected. His true passion is jazz -- and he's good. But when he travels to another realm to help someone find their passion, he soon discovers what it means to have soul.
9 Life Lessons
1.In the zone
2. The importance of self discovery
3. Can't crush a soul
4. You never asked
5. HALT
6. Lost Souls
7. Just regular livin'
8. I have no purpose
9. Given a second chance
I think the film is trying to say to us to come live. To seek joy in the everyday. To enjoy the highs and lows of life. To be grateful for the sparks in our life but to not be defined or dictated by them. To take pressure off finding our PURPOSE. And instead to live, discover and appreciate life and all its beauty – that’s what gives it meaning. Not the highlight reel.
How will you live?
Will you come join us in our community?

What's in your hand?
Moses felt like an imposter. (Exodus 3:11). I'm sure we all do from time to time. Next time you do, I'd like to encourage you to focus on what's in your hand, the things you have, the skills you have, the experience you have and use it to the best of your ability. Show up, have fun, do your best and be better than you were yesterday.

But flip
I really discourage the use of the word but.
However, here are two occasions when you using the word BUT might help.

To whom it may concern... do more of what you love.
Simple.

Will this be the legacy of 2020 on your heartset?
Focus on giving and helping not getting and having. We already have more than enough. Time to focus on those who need it more.
