Not at your best?
If you aren't at your #best right now, consider this...
What helps you be at your best? Write a list of all the things that help you come to the world as the best version of you.
Then ask yourself, when was the last time you did any of those things? #Consistently
My #encouragement to you is to do this simple formula. +1/-1
Do 1 more thing that helps you be at your best.
Do 1 less thing that stops you from being at your best.
I hope you get to experience how much more you are able to be your best for those who need you when you look after yourself.
Always love
Ryan

Can you imagine an organisation that exists to benefit all those who are not members?
So may organisations focus on their members. And rightly so! BUT, here's what we have realised. We (ABTY) are an organisation that exists to benefit al those who are not members. We believe that the heartprint we leave in you, by encouraging you to lead with your heartset and serve with your heartwork, that an infinite number of non-members will benefit. How incredible is it that people who haven't even heard of ABTY will become beneficiaries of our service, because of the impact those we help go on to make.
Thank you for being part of our heartprint. Keep leaving your mark friends.

Not feeling kind? Then HALT
Last week I spoke to an assembly of 7-11 year olds and told them I believe kindness is in our nature.
I also said that if they struggle to be kind, then to HALT.
It’s harder to be kind and focus on others if we are:
Hungry 🍔
Angry 😡
Lonely 😭
Tired 😴
As leaders, if we are feeling and acting unkind, we simply need to halt (reducing the likelihood of leaving a negative #heartprint ) and seek to give ourselves what we need.
When we feel like we have all that we need, we are naturally able to look beyond ME and focus on WE.
This is the importance of self care and self leadership.
Leading people is hard. So give yourself what you need and come to the world, better for those who need you!
How will you be #kind to yourself today?
How will you be kind to others today?
Get your KINDNESS tees from Jonathan Darling, MBA !
Have a great week friends.
Always love
Ryan

Maybe its not fear of change?
As someone who is inspired by creating a better future, I’ve usually had a good relationship with change.
Being young in service, I often got frustrated by those who resisted or feared change.
The more I’ve grown as a heart-centred leader, the more I’ve come to realise that it isn’t always a “fear” of change but more a desire for things to remain the same.
Not everyone sees the need for change. Some people are happy with things the way they are now.
💡 Little tip for change managers:
If you want to take these people with you on that journey of change, forget trying to convince them of the need for change or the benefits of that change, just simple let them know what aspects will remain the same.
Less frustration. More compassion.
Are you responsible for change? What are your thoughts on this? What works well in your world?

Will you plant seeds that will grow trees that you won't get to sit in the shade of?
Lot's of you are loving episode 182 with Joshua Luke Smith released earlier this week. He said something which inspired Shell so much, she now has it on her desk as a reminder.
It makes me think of purpose and legacy.
Will you plant seeds today?

Nature or Nurture?
Psychologists wrestle with the concept of nature vs. nurture. As a leader, I believe we should nurture their nature.
