The world needs more female leaders, but it doesn't deserve them
I believe the world needs more female leaders. But only if it means they get to lead doing that they do best. I believe the world does not deserve more female leaders if it requires they change themselves to fit in, advance and succeed. The world needs more heart centred, nurturing, caring, serving and sacrificial leadership now more than ever. Few do this more naturally than women. But the world of work does not deserve these leaders if it sends them home worse for those who need them. We have a lot of opportunity to create an incredible and inclusive world where we all get to contribute of ourselves without losing ourselves. But if it requires us to change who we are, then I'd prefer we all didn't play that game.

Ep 181 Interview Sessions with David Bryan
On episode 181 I am joined by David Bryan, CEO of Keyturn PBC, poet, love warrior and entrepreneur for humanity.
After becoming a father at 21, David Bryan began working in the supply chain of construction where for over a decade he experienced pervasive non-payment of wages owed and abusive treatment by bosses. In 2014, David founded www.keyturn.comand dedicated his life to the mission of improving how people experience work and how value is exchanged between people in business.
Keyturn’s success attracted investors from the halls of Harvard Business School to Goldman Sachs, to top real estate investors, to Mark Cuban.
In 2019, after years of working 16 hour days pursuing his mission and feeling the pressures of investor funded entrepreneurship, David burnt out. He was disconnected from his three kids, his company was out of money, and so was he.
Through love, grace, meditation, the Wim Hof Method, training at Tony Robbins events, and yoga, he found freedom, renewed purpose, and inner peace. He began the process of rebuilding his life and relationships with his kids and hasn’t stopped since.
Today, David’s primary purpose and mission is not business. It is becoming a heart centered present man and father to his kids.
In this episode you will hear:
01:00 “we’re all just walking each other home” - Ram Dass
04:00 another way to do business
08:00 learning how to “BE” again
10:30 the pressure of being a pastor’s kid
17:00 the feeling of connection
20:00 reducing human suffering in business
30:00 maybe I need me
33:30 love warrior and entrepreneur for humanity
37:30 when Sage went missing
43:00 New Day New Grace
44:00 Wim How Method the number one thing that’s helped David
I hope this interview inspires your heart-centred leadership.
