Interview Sessions Ep 32 with Paul McGee
Ep 32 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with best selling author and speaker Paul McGee “the Sumo Guy”
SUMO was one of the best personal development books I listened to in 2018.
I saw Paul speak in December and he blew me away.
This interview, it’s safe to say was with one of my idols.
It was a brilliant conversation and full of so much practical and useful advice that can literally be implemented by anyone in their own journey.
The conversation almost never happened after many failed attempts. But we believed, persisted, never gave up and had an incredible conversation in the end.
I know this will be of value to go and I’d love to know which bit specifically resonates with you most.
Check out Paul’s books on Amazon and head to thesumoguy.com for more.

Interview Sessions Ep 31 with Luke Burrows
Ep 31 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with young entrepreneur, mindset coach and community leader Luke Burrows
During our conversation we heard how Luke has pushed through anxiety through self development, finding his purpose and value to now building a business and community, helping others grow.
I admire Luke's attitude of “there must be more to life” and how he has used that along with “no regrets” to keep him growing and moving forward.
The standout quote for me was “I can do anything, but I might not be able to do everything”.
Luke is a passionate young man with a desire to help people win. He is a leader and it has been my pleasure to serve alongside him in his Grow2Gether community.

Book Review - Dare to Lead by Brene Brown
Let me know what you think of my book review of Dare to Lead by Brene Brown.
Personally, it's one of my favourite leadership books I've read.
It perfectly captures that leadership is about.. people, people, people.

Interview Sessions Ep 30 with Nicole Termin
Ep 30 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with Nicole Termin communication wizard 🧙🏻♀️
We had a great conversation about Nicole’s mindset, what helps her show up as an entrepreneur, educator (Udemy)and someone who has grown a very large social media following.
We also talked about why communication is important and how developing leaders can develop their communication skills by learning first how to listen!
I also love it when I hear other people say they are doing what they love. It’s not an easy option but it makes the tough times easier.

Interview Sessions Ep 29 with Troy Brown
Ep 29 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Session was with Bodybuilding Champion, Personal Trainer, Mindset Coach, Entrepreneur and DJ Troy Brown
This was a powerful conversation and true to my being a life long learner, I took so much from this episode.
I took lots of notes from all the value that Troy was dropping 💣
We discussed what it takes to compete at the highest level. To develop discipline, to work with vision, persistence, purpose, curiosity, self improvement and service.
I love Troy’s approach to keep pushing the comfort zone, becoming comfortable with feeling uncomfortable.
Be sure to check out the full interview on Facebook | YouTube | Podcast and if you want to hear more, subscribe to Troy’s persistence factor podcast.
I really enjoyed this one. Hope you do too.

Interview Sessions Ep 28 with John Gunther
Ep 28 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with UFC fighter John Gunther ( @followmeimblind )
This was a fascinating interview. One that I'd been dying to have since I saw John on the Ultimate Fighter.
John has a unique mindset and character. I really liked hearing his perspective on pain.
“Learn to enjoy pain and life will be wonderful”
It was also great to hear how he reflects on and learns from defeat and keeps moving forward.
We touched on confidence, how how much you learn and grow as a human in the octagon, recovering from injury and just loving what you do.
This was a really enjoyable conversation with someone that competes on a worldwide stage.
I hope you find great value and insight in the talk. Head over to Facebook | YouTube for the full video.

Mentor Session #11 - Raise your Consciousness in 2019
In the first live I shared with the We Are ABTY community, I gave some tips to help people raise their consciousness in 2019.
1. Focus on what you want
2. Be mindful of how you want to think
3. Consider who you want to spend time with
4. Be mindful and present when travelling
With focus and purpose it is my hope that we can live more intentionally and less on autopilot in 2019.

Interview Sessions Ep 27 with Brian Formato
Ep 27 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with Brian Formato founder of Leadersurf.
This conversation, when it finally happened, was well worth the facebook difficulties.
I loved hearing about Brian’s leadership retreat concept and how powerful an experiential learning environment is for developing leaders.
There was so much value in this conversation that’s it’s hard to pick my favourite parts.
I loved two parts of the leadersurf programme.
The self discovery and personal growth through reflection and surfing. Secondly, the humanitarian work to help leaders experience the power of servant leadership.
I am definitely going to experience this programme one day.

Interview Sessions Ep 26 with Esther McCann
Ep 26 of the Always Better than Yesterday Interview Sessions was with life coach Esther McCann
This was such a powerful conversation filled with many great mindset takeaways for people to implement in their own journey.
Esther has taken herself from rock bottom in her own life to now living a life she loves and helping others do the same.
We talk about mindset, self doubt, courage, mindfulness and much more.
Ultimately she summed it up perfectly by saying..
“You deserve to be happy”
What would we do differently if we believe that to be true? Powerful.

Please do share with the one person going through a tough time that you think would benefit from hearing it or connecting with Esther directly.
